It was our daughters 10th birthday today and we were out for the dsy and we're looking for pubs nearby for us to eat out at. Partner checked the reviews and we headed there.Must admit we were a little apprehensive at first because of how quiet it was, but it was definatley worth it we all really enjoyed the food, the tavern burger was delicious as was the I house homemade steak and guiness pie. We had a lovely Sunday carvery and pudding. Staff were lovely as well, if not a little short handed. They were very kind to our 18 months old grandbaby who was with us.Kid-friendliness: High chair was in place ready for us when we arrived.

Called in Thursday evening for a couple of beers and food after a days fishing in the area. Large country style pub. Decent selection of beverages good food menu and friendly staff. The pub is closed Monday and Tuesday open from 6pm Wensdays. Would call again if in area.
