We had a very lovely lunch here with our friends. Really enjoyed the large choice of craft beers (Old Peculiar is one of their nest at that time) and the food is very good (steak pie is delicious and generous). Telly and a pool table will also entertain you while enjoying time here. Friendly staff and cozy place.

As usual we had a lovely meal. The steak pie is fabulous and all the food is home cooked and very reasonably priced which is rare these days. We have been going fairly regularly for 30 yrs and can honestly say we have never had a bad meal.Parking: Parking is on gravel so beware of your best high heels!!Kid-friendliness: Never been a problem

Pie to die for, go with a healthy appetite! Great selection of beer. It feels like a proper old country pub. Landlord is a real gentleman and very sociable.Parking: huge car park at the side of the pub. No other neighbours to steal any slots.
