We dined here on 29th Oct as a large group of 11 people. We’re holidaying in Thorganby and this pub is 2 miles from where we’re at and the closest pub. The food here is top class. Being a large family we’re accustomed to, when we dine out, someone’s meal being forgotten or mistaken by the restaurant but not here. Every meal was served as requested. Just a short distance from Grimsby nesting in the Lincolnshire wolds is this quaint old pub still bearing the marks of its past RAF association. Very reasonable price for food with a decent menu and plenty of cask beer!

Wow...if you are a steak pie fan then look no further, simply the best I've had... Large portion packed with suculent meaty chunks that melt in your mouth and not an ounze of chewy fat, nicely cooked veg and a choice of either mash or chips topped of with gravey... all for £14. It's a must.
