Great little tearoom! Today we had my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday at The Vintage Tearooms. We had the room upstairs all to ourselves, which was a perfect size for the 15 of us. We had a mixture of children and adults and the tearoom catered for both, giving us sandwiches, cakes and scones that the children would like and then some different ones that the adults would like. They gave us everything we requested including decaf tea for the children. The room was decorated very traditionally and felt like you could be in a different age. I would recommend wearing light clothing in the sunny weather as it was a little warm and the sun was lovely and bright through the open windows. The food was delicious! We have a selection of sandwiches, plain and current scones, cakes, tea and coffee. I'd highly recommend this afternoon tea experience as the staff made it very special for us.

A fantastic find! Such a cute place, welcoming and friendly staff. The cakes looked amazing all on display and lots of choices of food and drink on the menu. We had a cappuccino and a tea, served in a lovely vintage teapot with a teacup and saucer. We will definitely go back if we are

Tealby is a pretty little village . In fact it’s like being in Devon driving through the narrow lanes . We will come into the tea rooms ,your cakes looks lovely ,and your tea rooms are lovely . I like to give good reviews . We will keep check on opening times . Please accept my apologies for other review . It’s just we were looking so forward to your tea and delicious cakes . I forgot it was holiday times and short staffed .

We spend our summers in the beautiful village of Tealby and the Vintage Tea Room is one of our favorite places. We both love a traditional afternoon tea and have experienced tea from 5 star London properties to venues in the Cotswolds and Yorkshire. The variety and quality of the sandwiches, scones and cakes at the Vintage Tea Room is superb. Tealby is lucky to have such an inviting tea room.

Excellent tearooms. Light and airy, well presented and with excellent snacks and drinks. Staff were welcoming and they are dog friendly; in the front room of the tearooms only. Worth a visit and will be back if we are in the area again.

Wonderful Vintage Tearooms. Took my mum there for her birthday. I had pre booked and took our little dog with us. He was made welcome and a bowl of water was provided for him. He was even given dog ice cream which he loved. Staff were lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The Afternoon Tea was delicious and so fresh. We all loved it. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

Great cafe very much enjoyed the food. It's in the beutiful village of Tealby. It was busy so the service was great but a little slow. The staff were really good. All in all a great place to pop in for a nice cuppa and a scone with jam and cream.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, very disappointing. We sat in the tearoom with no heating/radiator behind us not on. It was 1 degree outside and we was all frozen and sat there with our coats on. Totally dampened the spirit of our Christmas NHS treat out. Fully aware there is an energy crisis. Therefore should have been informed that no heating would be on and if we still wished to attend.

My husband and children booked a surprise 60th birthday party for me on Saturday 3rd December and it was simply perfect. Jennie couldn't have been more helpful. A gorgeous afternoon tea, plentiful tea, coffee etc... and nothing was too much trouble. The children even had their very own version of our afternoon tea. The bakewell tart was simply mouthwatering and the sausage rolls probably the best I have ever tasted. The addition of a variety of berries was an especially niice touch. All 22 of us felt pampered and were made to feel special. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Visited for Afternoon tea for my Sister in law's 60th birthday. Lovely tearooms. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Have to say, the sausage rolls were the nicest I've ever tasted. Well worth a visit.

My cycling club stopped here for tea on a ride to the seaside. Staff were very accommodating of our large group. We appreciated the vegan options. Great service and scones were still warm. Would definitely recommend
