We ate here twice within a few days as we we’re staying in the village and both times had great service and really good food. There was 5 adults a toddler and a dog. The service was friendly and not rushed, food really delicious and lots of choice. It was really busy on New years day however this didn’t affect anything and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!
Good pub grub we went New Year’s Day great atmosphere great bar and food was excellent Very reasonably priced Proper good pub grub it’s great to see they aren’t trying to charge fancy restaurant prices in a pub Friendly staff nice buzz

This is a fantastic little pub and the history of it is so interesting. The food we expected to be good, being a home cooked restaurant. It did, however excel in all ways. The food was delicious and plentiful and the landlady was a font of knowledge about the history of the place, which was just up our street.
