This pub is unique, in so far as it has its own brewery. It serves fabulous home cooked food. The menu is small - which is great, as the chef can concentrate on making a small selection of dishes fabulous. Sunday lunch is fabulous. The taste of the food is unbelievable. If you want a rural, no frills pub, with friendly staff, a warm welcome, great food and a great pint - this is a place for you. If you want fancy surroundings and plush decor - maybe give it a swerve.

Attended here Saturday in a group of 15. The food was excellent. Most of us had Steak, everybody commented how tasty it was. The chips were delicious. The service was very good. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant Sunday dinner, yet again! Shame you don't do it every week.
Bike night , plenty attending despite the rain. Cracking cheeseburger and Yorkshire tea, what's not to like?
Not sure how this pub can be better. Excellent proper beer, tremendous home cooked food, pleasant atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff.
This pub is by far the best for Sunday Roast. Lovely staff and the locals are very friendly and welcoming.
Fantastic local pub, Joe is very friendly, great food and fantastic choice of beveraginos, including their own brewed beer, would recomend
