Brunch Banging Burgers

Took me and young daughter here for lunch after shopping.She can be fussy, but she polished off a Forrest Gump (simple :) cheese burger) with fries.My own burger was delicious, with all the trimmings and some of the best curry chips I've ever tasted. All food arrived very quickly.Owner is a top bloke too, so basically no complaints, and we'll be back with the rest of the clan soon enough.Highly recommended!

What a beautiful hidden restaurant we nearly missed it today as not as visible from the front as it could be so glad we didn't.But what a beautiful restaurant from the minute you step in absolutely spotless and very inviting the owners are the most welcoming people i have ever come across. The food well what can i say perfection along with the price please dont pass this by. Thank you for a wonderful lunch❤️❤️❤️

My 1st time visiting and I am very impressed, the restaurant was very nice looking clean an warm, greated by the owner in a nice friendly way, my order was ready on time. The food was securely packaged in foil containers and placed in a stong carrier bag, the food its self was very tasty, one of the best I have tasted in a long while, will definitely return and highly recommend.

We had dinner on Saturday evening at Lavo and every course was beyond delicious For Starter I had calamari, which were cooked perfectly, not a bit of overcooked rubber in sight My husband had the mussels and clams in wine sauce, and the sauce was so tasty For main I had pan fried sea bream and he had lobster ravioli – Perfetto! Last time we came I had tiramisu and it was nothing like an Italian Tiramisu. This time oh my goodness. I could have been sat in the restaurant facing the Pantheon in Rome which serves the best Tiramisu! Kat was our waitress and she was lovely, and I asked if I could go to the Pass to speak to the chefs to pass on our compliments – Rita and another guy. We shall be back very soon and will be recommending Lavo to one and all!

Ashby Lodge, Greene King Pub & Carvery

We booked a table for 16 on Sunday 17th March for a christening but the table had been moved to later in the day but the staff were extremely helpful and apologetic and sorted out our table. Thank you we had a lovely meal as well.

This is a traditional pub located on the banks of the Trent with great outdoor seating to take in the river views and peaceful countrysideYou can bring your dog and it is a lovely dog friendly atmosphereJoe the manager is exceptionalHe makes this a wonderful place to visitSadly they only do Sunday lunch once a month but it is it’s superb and well worth the waitWe usually book early as it is always fullThis is definitely worth visiting if you are aroundThe local characters are a very friendly bunch x

Food has been consistently good for years. Attended as a party of 11 for a new years eve meal. The menu also caters for guests who want 'english' food.The service seemed a bit slower this year, (we had to request refills for our drinks individually, rather than the waiter asking if anyone else at the table required a top up).Fair value for money, a nice evening destination.

Food was delicious my girls love the variety of food, the staff was great Alison and Karl mainly couldn't do enough for us they just made our Sunday morning breakfast treat a pleasant one ? we will 100% be returning again very soon! thank you again Alison and Karl ?

Spotted this chippy/ restaurant whilst strolling round Scunthorpe on a sunny freezing ? day. At £5:50p takeaway fish n chips n peas I thought it must be a kiddies portion. What a surprise. Visited Smoke and Iron with 7 friends for my birthday. The food was amazing, loved the atmosphere, the waiter looked happy to be there and the prices were very reasonable. Overall a great night and will definitely be visiting them again soon. Thank you.

The Raj Scunthorpe Indian Restaurant & Takeaway

First time trying The Raj and they were great!The food was absolutely delicious! Can't fault any of it. The chicken chaat and chicken Korai were so good. Delivery was brilliant too and the driver was really friendly. It arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected so that was great especially on a Friday night! We'll definitely be coming back again! Visit here sometimes to quickly get something for lunch. Nice little place, always seems busy which speaks for itself. The food I buy from here is always delicious, and it doesn't cost that much either. The staff are always friendly too.

The food was really good and the best curry dishes weve had in Scunthorpe. I can recommend the lamb briani, they even made the side curty extra hot for me.We ordered online for collection and it was ready and hot in 25min.We will definitely return!

Pizza Experts

We orderd tonight and it was ready in 15mins, we asked for bbq base instead of normal and it wasn't a issue. really nice and just how pizzas should be, cooked on a stone, it has the edge that others don't, would recommend definitely, the place looked clean and tidy also. ??

Really lovely place, decorated well inside and kept original features, gorgeous wooden bar. Looks a little outdated from the road which is deceiving. Food was delicious and well presented and staff were really nice. Dog friendly in the bar. Would definitely recommend.

Snack Attack

Hungry at work and where to lazy to do a pack up north a meal prep so opted for a omelette. More than enough for full breakfast. Price good with optional delivery.

Oh my! First time customer. I was beginning to think the people of Scunthorpe didn’t know what good food is. This is first time eating Indian food in Scunthorpe too as I was reluctant, based on other cuisines that have been of very poor quality. I chose small portions thinking they would be a tasting portion considering the price. Needless to say I could have fed a village for very little and ordered far too much, even after giving some to the neighbour, I’ll be eating for days to come. The food was very substantial, wholesome, and palatable. I only ordered 2 papadam so wasn’t expecting any pickles or chutneys/dips. However, they blessed me with extra and dips to try, which were all really nice. The delivery driver was happy, smiley and chatty. Maybe he was secretly laughing for all the food I ordered (facepalm) I do wonder if they would make home made Ras Malai if ordered in advanced?

Iron Forge

amazing experience at the iron forge ordered a really juicy burger and was perfect temperature at 108 degrees and the chips were cooked at 87 degrees and was the perfect crispiness known to man the head chef was amazing and really polite and was amazing my choclate fudge cake was cooked at 75 degrees and was the perfect amount of softiness and the icecream was frozen at 12 degrees and was perfect scoopiness will definitely come again and give them a tip 10/10 experience

Messingham Tandoori

Just visited the Mayfair for our daughters birthday, with family & friends. Superb staff, superb food and reasonable too. We will definitely be returning. When asked if it was a birthday, I didn't think much of it, but the table was decorated and there were balloons too. They even brought a birthday cake out!

Having used the Mcdonald App to place an order for delivery (which may I add, is a super platform), we have what can only be described as an absolutely appalling service from the Uber Delivery driver, he arrives then leaves immediately, attempting to contact Uber was next to impossible and when we did get in touch we was told we need to complain online, and did nothing to help at all, I then contacted the Mcdonald Branch Manager (David) this chap is a credit to the business, he could not have been more helpful, he resolved the matter immediately without any fuss, he was courteous and professional and more importantly he escalated the delivery issue with Uber.I do hope his area Manager reads this.

Burger King

The fries were very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the cola was not full sugar even though that's what I asked for and selected, it contained aspartame which I am allergic to so it made me ill. The other food items were all okay, but not enough for me to go back though.

Very good food and service the workers are very nice to talk to. Quick service and probably the best chip shop in scunthorpe.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and nice workers.

We booked for 14 people, but as soon as other customers walked in, our table was being reduced in size, then wanting someone to squeeze people on the end wasn't going to work with large people. My Hubby bought me a glass of wine, that was given to someone else in our group. Then we where moved to another table as others were leaving, and we could now fit together on a table. It was further away from the door, so a little warmer. Naturally the prices have gone up, but we found the food quality had reduced, as those who had chips found they were half cooked, and some of their meats over cooked. We have visited a few times, but most of our group found issues this visit and I always find the place cold.Another day perhaps it will be back as it was, cold drafts from the opening of the door, with quality food and good company.

Magnolia Cafe & Restaurant

I’m a regular customer and find the food good quality and value for money..my big pet get is they put far to much butter/margarine on there toast , baguettes..the toast end up soggy and the baguettes end up dripping with butter which is not good..Please reduce the amount you apply on the breads or let the customer have the choice to put there own butter / margarine on.I would give 5 star rating otherwise

A lovely cup of tea, and a genuinely superb and beautifully decorated zingy lemon drizzle cake, at the cosy Coffee at 43. The decor is smart, understated, and soothing. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

We’ve recently moved to Scunthorpe and heard great things about this place, especially for live music! Me and my wife are booked in for gig in March, can’t wait. We came in for food end of Jan and were surprised to see fully vegan menu! I still eat meat but wife is vegan so she was taken back. We went for BLT, vegan pancakes with vegan Nutella! and some extra fries. Delicious! Coffee was decent enough, but on the colder side but still fine. they do offer cows milk at bar which took my wife back, thought plant milk would come as standard. I still have cows milk so I was happy lol But only food menu fully vegan, maybe soon the bar will be vegan. 5star for food 4 star for drinks!

Klumpe Lithuanian Restaurant

The food was good, the waiting time was quite long, but this also proves the freshness of the dish. The place is well-kept, the toilets are also clean. The waitress was smiling.

Sando Takeaway

Amazing food, lovely people and the best kung pow chicken ever tasted, it sucks they don't deliver or have any means of delivery (just eat ect)now we have moved house we can't have it. Sad sad

Decided to try this takeaway,looked at reviews was going to give a miss but then realized the reviews were over two years ago. Eddy was mentioned a few times personally I couldn't fault him very polite. The food was actually better tasting than others I've had in Scunthorpe. Give it a try you'll be surprised

All Things Nice Cafe

My girlfriend and I just went there yesterday for my first full English breakfast.The breakfast was delicious - we both had set 1.Only the banana and strawberry milkshakes we ordered weren’t the best; were more just flavoured milk rather than a milkshake. Still good though!Will go here again! Would recommend. Workers were lovely.

South Park Cafe

The cafe itself is great, but do not use just eat to order. It's not the cafes fault, just eat let their drivers sit at home, and give their drivers 1.5 hours to make the delivery, when I rang the cafe to find out what was happening due to just eat changing the delivery times 3 times, the cafe kept up their end of the bargain but just eat didn't even have a driver there until 40 mins after the eta! And they don't even speak English!
