145 Frodingham Rd, ScunthorpeTook me and young daughter here for lunch after shopping.She can be fussy, but she polished off a Forrest Gump (simple :) cheese burger) with fries.My own burger was delicious, with all the trimmings and some of the best curry chips I've ever tasted. All food arrived very quickly.Owner is a top bloke too, so basically no complaints, and we'll be back with the rest of the clan soon enough.Highly recommended!

The service straight from the off was polite and tentative throughout.
The selection of food was excellent. The taste was even better. Portion sizes we're unbelievable, and more than enough for just the 2 of us.
For what we ordered, the pricing was remarkable. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable, tasty meal. Would definitely recommend

The manager Gina what a credit to the pub / restaurant so friendly and helpful. We called in to ask if we could stay in our campervan for the night what an amazing place from the great staff, to the building its worth a trip for the interior alone .
The food was beautiful and very reasonable priced as was the beer. All in a very nice place to visit . Gina even provided electricity for our van which was very much appreciated. Will return .

It has been something I look forward to every week as a treat. It's top quality stuff and doesn't raise my glucose crazy amounts. Every time I have it, it's perfect. I add some feta, olives and olive oil ???. On top of that, the delivery guys are very pleasant and friendly. Very much recommended.

This is first time eating Indian food in Scunthorpe too as I was reluctant, based on other cuisines that have been of very poor quality. I chose small portions thinking they would be a tasting portion considering the price. Needless to say I could have fed a village for very little and ordered far too much, even after giving some to the neighbour, I’ll be eating for days to come. The food was very substantial, wholesome, and palatable. I only ordered 2 papadam so wasn’t expecting any pickles or chutneys/dips. However, they blessed me with extra and dips to try, which were all really nice. The delivery driver was happy, smiley and chatty. Maybe he was secretly laughing for all the food I ordered (facepalm) I do wonder if they would make home made Ras Malai if ordered in advanced?

Portion sizes were plentiful and delivery was in good time. Delivery driver was extremely friendly and helpful also adding that to get a cheaper takeaway to order straight from the website rather than through just eat. With it being so close by for me the only thing that stops me frequenting to become a 'regular' is that it is priced at a point to reflect just how good it is.
Deserving of its Michelin Star. I hope I can continue to visit whenever I can find excuse enough to cover the price.

High St, Messingham, ScunthorpeI recently attended a 60th birthday party at The Horn Inn and honestly couldn’t fault a thing.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Louise, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You could really feel the care and attention from the whole team throughout the event.
The food was a real highlight — a proper home-cooked buffet, fresh, healthy, and full of flavour. Not your typical mass-produced buffet food at all, but genuinely delicious and clearly made with pride.
The function room itself was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for such a special occasion. Everything felt thoughtfully put together.
What impressed me even more was how well they catered for guests with allergies — even though this hadn’t been clearly communicated in advance, the staff handled it professionally and without any fuss.
A brilliant venue with a great team. Thank you for helping make the celebration so memorable — highly recommended!

My father had a latte but we were told there were no long latte spoons to stir his sugar in so he had to use a fork as the normal spoon was too small.\nNo triple cooked chips to go with fish and chips so were offered other options, but, as my son-in-law chose truffle and Parmesan instead, we were charged extra. Didn’t realise this until I looked at receipt a second time. Didn’t think we should have been charged the extra as they didn’t have the chips he wanted originally.\nOverall, a pleasant evening.

The Chancel, Cambridge Ave, Scunthorpe1st time going to Chancel pub for food and it won't be the last. Just had the best chicken bhuna of my life(freshly made may I add) and I've had a few ?. Service was spot on really polite and attentive staff. Me and the wife had a starter to share and the 2 chicken bhuna's (which also came with rice,skin on chips and a naan bread) a couple of pints and a pint of coke and spent just under £40.
Would highly recommend.

Normal size HP and heinz ketchup on the tables no messing with sachets.

43 Broadway, Ashby, ScunthorpeI don't often come here, but when I do it never disappoints. Great food, hot drinks. I always go for the breakfast.
It is a tad expensive in my opinion. Only slightly nothing major. But it's the only cafe i know that's on Broadway. So guess it's the monopoly of being the only place. But all in all, I will and do go back.

Great experience. We all had some fantastic Thai food which was tasty and good value. Had great service from Jess who was very helpful and friendly. Had some good friendly banter which was nice.
Would throughly recommend and will definitely return when we come back

The service straight from the off was polite and tentative throughout.
The selection of food was excellent. The taste was even better. Portion sizes we're unbelievable, and more than enough for just the 2 of us.
For what we ordered, the pricing was remarkable. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable, tasty meal. Would definitely recommend

The Horn Inn
High St, Messingham, ScunthorpeI recently attended a 60th birthday party at The Horn Inn and honestly couldn’t fault a thing.
The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Louise, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. You could really feel the care and attention from the whole team throughout the event.
The food was a real highlight — a proper home-cooked buffet, fresh, healthy, and full of flavour. Not your typical mass-produced buffet food at all, but genuinely delicious and clearly made with pride.
The function room itself was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for such a special occasion. Everything felt thoughtfully put together.
What impressed me even more was how well they catered for guests with allergies — even though this hadn’t been clearly communicated in advance, the staff handled it professionally and without any fuss.
A brilliant venue with a great team. Thank you for helping make the celebration so memorable — highly recommended!

The manager Gina what a credit to the pub / restaurant so friendly and helpful. We called in to ask if we could stay in our campervan for the night what an amazing place from the great staff, to the building its worth a trip for the interior alone .
The food was beautiful and very reasonable priced as was the beer. All in a very nice place to visit . Gina even provided electricity for our van which was very much appreciated. Will return .

The Pink Pig Farm
Holme Hall, Holme Ln, ScunthorpeThe whole Day was superb from start to finish. Although we specifically wanted to see the Donkeys but they have gone.
And I think they could do with a couple of portaloos near the trampoline area. Its a fair walk for a desperate child or and elderly grand parent. Other than that is defo 4-5 stars
