Not nice at all. Jacket potato came cold. The tuna that came with the jacket tasted like the brine it comes in. I ordered a specialty tea but they only had Tetley tea bags. There was barely any cutlery and had to ask twice. The teapots are disgusting and have limescale inside. Really bad selection of food as well. Food was edible not enjoyable. Will most definitely not be returning.

We have loved morrsions cafe food for years and the food is still great but the cafe has gone down hill. No staff and lack of things been restocked like knives and forks. Make the whole experience stressful as others are complaining around us. Not fair on staff, too.

Order food at the machine. Waited nearly half hour and still no food. Had to go ask where it was and she apologised was told its just coming out. Over 5 minutes later it turns up.The fried egg is solid and we ask for a new egg.She grabs the plate and we say that we'll just have a new egg brought out and carry on eating as we have already waited over half hour. She took the plate and shouted as she walked off 'iv already apologised for that'She was really rude.

Waited half an hour for a cooked breakfast. It turned up with a rather over cooked fried egg. I asked if they could fetch another egg out but no they proceeded to take the whole plate of food away despite me asking if they could just swap the egg but no that wasn't the way. Another 15 minute wait and I got my food which was okay but I had to eat alone because my wife had finished hers ages ago and we we're getting short on time

I have been to this cafe multiple time over the years and I’m sad to see the slow decline of food quality and portion sizes, hygiene and service. All whilst prices keep rising. Today’s visit will be the last. When we arrive the cafe was virtually empty except for a three tables. There was no staff on show. We had to order on the computer, easily enough however there was no receipts available nor cards with numbers on. We wasn’t certain if the order had even gone through at this point. We helped ourselves to drinks and still no one came out. We went to sit down and struggled to find a clutter free, wiped down table. I wiped ours with a dry napkin. We sat down and after about 20 minutes a member of staff finally appeared, as an elderly customer who had been waiting at the till for 10 minutes had spilt something all over the floor. I approached asking if they had received our meal order. She asked me what number we was, but we hadn’t been given one? I told her what our order was and she said it was cooking. About 5 minutes later a member of staff was wandering around with two boxes asking who had ordered take out. 10 mins later a member of staff approached us and asked us if we had ordered a take out. No we hadn’t. She then explained there had been a mix up and our food order had gone through as a take out. This is why it’s so important to have actual staff on the tills or front of house in cafes, so these mistakes are sorted straight away!!! I then sat thinking surely they are not going to bring out the 10 minute cold food they had been wandering around with. Yes they did!! The fish was broke in half with the now cold, soggy chips and peas just dumped on top. The skin on the fish was now cold and wet, as the peas had been dumped on top. It was inedible and I left it. My husbands breakfast was just as bad, but he was forced to eat it as he had taken medication and needed food. We didn’t complain. I think this Morrisons cafe is a bad reflection of their cafes. It’s neglected, understaffed, freezing cold and not like any other cafe in Morrisons I have been to. A bleak experience made worse by sloppy standards.

Service was good, just missing a drink from the menu which was explained should have been taken off the menu in the morning.

Very confusing ordering system especially if you were old or not technically savvy.

New system means you make your order even before you get into the cafe, the computer menu and printed menu dont match the items I wanted were not on the computer ordering menu system, I was told to order something of the same monetary value and let the staff know about it the staff were nowhere to be seen, unless there running in and out of the kitchen with orders, when food did come I ordered porridge with berries and honey , cost me extra, then something that resembled a rubber brick came out instead, no berries no honey in sight was then told honey is on the counter next to the till and they would go get the berries which took a further 15 minutes to throw a small handful of tasteless blueberries and raspberries on it, then I ask I the toasted tea cakes I I ordered were coming soon they said they hadn't had that thought with the order so the computer menu at the front of the cafe obviously is faulty as it took my money and didnt put it on the order. Next issue was I ordered 2 full breakfast for £10 and you get a free drink with them they came Came out and were cold the lurpack was beyond melted for their toasts, even though butter was selected on the computer menu they got lurpack instead, lurpack is not butter mix spreadable, was with hubby and son , son said cup if tea he had was disgusting the milk was strange, we only ate as it took too long to come out and we was hungry, the old system was way better this cafe has gone way down in term of quality overall and it seems like the staff dont even care if this is the case better to just shut it down altogether . Wont be going back.

So the guy who was on the till was all by himself due to shortage of staff, he was amazing couldnt fault him, felt so sorry for him! He was running round like a mad man trying to keep up with everything & everyone’s orders & not even once did he snap or seem stressed! It ruined my experience as my need to help him kicked in & I had to offer to help tidy the tables! Poor guy deserves a pay rise or Morrisons need to sort their staffing out!!

Vegetarian options: Awful ordered 1 full main breakfast and 1 full vegetarian. Brought us 2 full main got refund for 1 then again ordered replacement vegetarian... Out came vegan this time with no scrambled eggs as vegetarian does have. Tomato was raw also mushroom the full English was almost cold. Most awful breakfasts we have ever had and won't be returning

Absolutely shocking customer service half of our food or drinks were unavailable waited half an hour to speak to someone and even then they made us feel stupid told us to get an alternative which there was nothing for the same price. They should turn it back to a costumer service cafe where you actually speak to staff as long as they are polite where as they wasn’t in this instance.NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!
