Classic Hungry Horse. Food average at best, below average really. It is fairly cheap compared to other places so if you want a cheap bite I suppose it's ok but very low standard food. I had mixed grill with scampi added and it was less than twenty quid so I suppose I shouldn't moan too much but meat quality was very poor, scampi was classic supermarket processed fare and it came out pretty cold. Service was good and staff were pleasant but food quality is below average at best!

We didn't have food so cannot comment on that!Came in for drinks before the Scunthorpe United match on Boxing Day. Fast efficient service. Great for pre match drinks!

Been here a couple of times as it makes a change of scenery from The Queensway. Food has always been lovely, nice atmosphere, and always been able to get a tableParking: Nothing really more to say, plenty of parking in the car park tbh and parking spaces are decent size

Decided to go treat ourselves to some pub food. No problem parking, went in and found a table. Loads of food to choose from on the menu. Ordering was easy at the bar. The food arrived in about 10 minutes and was lovely. The waitresses were very friendly and polite. All in all the Old Farmhouse was an enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back.

Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Very tasty food although portion sizes varied for 2 main meals (both same meal). One item on menu not available but overall still satisfied.Vegetarian options: The chickpea and sweet potato curry was delicious, however this was dish that we both had and our portion sizes were very different

Called on a Sunday for dinner. Not got any Sunday dinner wraps. Not got next choice of fish and chips. Not got something else that we wanted.Settled for a burger and chips.Burger was ok but only got a measly portion of chips.Other members complained of food being dry.Service was good to be fair to the staff.Won't be calling back in a hurry I'm afraid

Food was average. The chips looked like they have been sat at the bottom for the fryer for several hours. The pie was very hard. Staff brought out some new chips that were a lot nicer. I just don't understand why they would send out horrible chips!

This place is simply the best. Highly recommended. Service is topnotch. Food is tasty. They walk around asking customers if they are okay. I needed more chips and they gave me free on the house ?? I wasn't expecting it, but yeah, they gladly did that. The services make you feel like you're eating at home. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxing and cozy.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly and enough space for them to run around ?Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

We went there for breakfast. It wasn't overly busy. Very good choice of food and reasonable prices. We had to wait quite a bit for food to come out, although we had an apology for the member of staff. The food was warm and the toast was cold so I couldn't spread the butter.Apart from that, all good. It was our first time there, but we will give another shot.

Could not fault the staff and service, very friendly. We went mid morning so we had breakfastFood was nice and reasonable price.Hardly anyone in which made it a very quiet experience. Suppose it gets busier at dinner maybe.

Lovely barstaff, happy to help. Food was great, exactly what you would expect and with no discrepancies, all hot and straight out to us within about 15/20 mins which was great. Even on a Saturday night it was fairly chill, couple of kids shouting around but hey, it's a kid friendly pub so no problem there! All round really decent experience ?

Arrived and had to wait whilst bar staff finished her E mails before been served , ordered the drinks , but 1 was too strong so as for a splash more coke , but then told it would be a £1 . Ordered three 12oz rump steak meals and at over £13 each , expected more than a few chips , 2 onion rings and steak very chewy and fatty . Poor experience altogether and definitely not recommend going for a meal to anyone .

Appeared on Happy Cow, and with not much choice in Scunthorpe for vegans plumped for here for breakfast.Despite having vegan dishes on the menu some plant milk for coffee is a step too far, apparently.Had the vegan breakfast and some extra portions, as it is quite limited in scope.Parts didn’t arrive and I had to go chasing off for them. Sausages had either been basted in fish because the chef hated vegans or they were rotting.Neither scenarios would make anyone want to go back, but I haven’t been violently I’ll yet.You pay prior. No one asked if the food was ok or why I’d shoved three sausages in my coffee cup.Vegetarian options: Don’t go if you’re vegan they don’t care about you.

Didn't book a table for Sunday lunch but they found us a table straight away, very helpful staff, food was good and really well priced, very busy so they are doing something right here.
