Chips and fish always fresh, ordered from there a few times now and has never disappointed. Has quickly become my favourite chip shop in sleaford service you just can't fault. Highly recommend.

Food is good here but on this visit I did notice that not one member of staff was wearing a hair net. 3 girls had hair in buns at back of the neck area and 1 had pigtails. I did notice that the pigtails ended up touching another customers fish and chips as they were been wrapped. Not hygienic. I am aware that this is not a legal requirement. Maybe something to be addressed.Also a member of staff had nail polish on. French tips style. This is a legal requirement when food handling not to wear false nails or nail polish. I thought that if working in the food industry and serving that this was definitely a no go. Putting me off going back in.

Very good quality fish & chips & i had mine with gravy but all 3 meals of 2 x fish chips 1 with gravy & 1 fish cake & chips was absolutely fantastic & well worth the money as well & the service from start to finish was excellent as well.

Wouldn’t even want to give it a star if I didn’t have to. Ordered through the app on Tuesday night (16th Jan). Food arrived missing a battered sausage. Rang and they said they would get it to us and gave their apologies which was fine. We ordered plaice and found it had bones in. The batter on the sausage was underdone and soggy. Rang to complain and spoke to the very rude manager who wouldn’t stop calling me darling which I found extremely patronising. Told me he couldn’t do anything as he didn’t believe me about the quality of his food and then proceeded to hang up. I re rang 5 minutes later and he explained he was sorry as “I was very stressed and I shouldn’t have spoke to you how I did. I’m happy to refund you the order amount if you send the food back”. I said yes ok send your driver and I’ll give it back. Their driver came to collect the food. Manager said refund would be with me in 2-3 working days. I rang again yesterday (friday 19th) to be told the refund is on its way. I prepared to end the call and then got SHOUTED at by the manager telling me “I shouldn’t have refunded you though should I” he then tried to accuse me of all sorts and told me I’d lied about loads of things which I haven’t. He then proceeded to hang up on me again after shouting for 10 mins. I rang back and got through to another lady who was just as rude, I asked to speak to the manager again and she said he’s gone home now” and continued arguing with me. Then at 21:30 she informed me “we’re closed now thanks goodbye” and hung up AGAIN. Might just add I still have NO REFUND that was promised to me. I also have video evidence that a refund was promised if they wish to take this further.

AWFUL, TEREBLE, NO TASTE.... Fish taste of nothing, chips dry and hard.... On the positive side it reminded me of a wonderful holiday, Swimming in Grease....

I've had many issues with staff not fulfilling my order in the past and that has put me off using them which is a shame because the food is generally good. I have never felt the need to put in a negative review partly because the work force are predominantly kids and we were all once kids and had to learn right? This week I placed my order, paid for the food and waited for my change, the young lad totally forgot to give me my change and was very apologetic when I asked for it. when I returned home with my order it was not all there! I called Fillets and the lady on the phone advised me that I hadn't paid for one portion of the chips and that the order must have been taken down incorrectly. I asked that she have a chat with staff to be more careful when taking orders to which she responded, next time I should repeat the order twice to ensure that it was correct......... umm not quite the response I was expecting, for that reason alone I wont be returning to Filets again.

Just had a kebab from here and it was great. Good value for what it costs lots of meat and salad and the meat wasn't too greasy, kebabs can be sometimes. Beware of the chilly sauce it packs a punch?.Friendly staff, place looks spotless. Will definitely go there again
Haddock Chips and Mushy peas ..no pictures because it was ate hot and who’s got time to take photos when you have F&C in front of you ! Lovely.. cooked fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere it was quite quiet but it’s a takeaway and I wasn’t expecting a disco. Go and enjoy!

Sadly very dissatisfied & disappointed.We have previously always been very satisfied with both service and food, but earlier this evening we went in, it wasn't that busy, but we had to wait longer than necessary & the food was really disappointing.The haddock was tasteless, the chips no where near as nice as before.The staff had no vibrancy about them, no enthusiastiam.Needless to say we didn't finish eating our meal..I wonder how staff would cope if it was busy..

Popped in for last minute meal. Haddock looked as though it had been sat in the 'warmer' for hours, tasteless and although I ordered a small, it was the skinniest fish I've ever had. Cheeseburger was also ordered and wish I hadn't. It was tasteless and rubbery. Oh well lesson learned.

Good Chippy, always busy so that speaks for itself. Done in and takeaway available but I've only ever had takeaway. Food prices are at the higher end for a Fish & Chip shop but the quality is good. Great variety is always available, like burgers and kebabs as well as all the usual chip shop goodies. The staff are quick and efficient at taking your order and serving you. Things like fish and onion rings are battered and cooked to order and not stacked up and left sitting. Recommend the onion rings as they are homemade and very tasty. Chips are nice but for me not the nicest I've had in the area, could be a little crispier. Happy to go back and recommend.
