44 Main St, South Rauceby, SleafordSuch a friendly welcoming pub in a pretty village. The food we had was outstanding and more akin to a fine dining restaurant than a pub but without the astronomical prices. Absolutely delicious. Hubby had the duck breast with delicious beetroot. This was gluten free and there were 6 gluten free main course options on the menu and one vegan. I had the salmon with the most amazing Rosti and gorgeous creamy sauce.. Followed by chocolate fudge cake which was a torte to die for served with malted milk ice cream and a warm blackberry and walnut Bakewell tart with blackberry ripple ice-cream, which was a nice twist on the usual Bakewell tart. Our bill was about £77 in total including 2 cokes and a J2o. The atmosphere is lovely as are all the staff. This is the second time we’ve been and both times have been wonderful. We shall be back! Highly recommend this pub.

2 Water Gate, SleafordWe walked into town from Greylees this morning for a nice dog walk and breakfast. We were recommended the Watergate Yard from FB recommendations. On arrival (10.40 ish) it was actually shut and wasn’t due to open for food till midday. However, the staff decided that was we’d made the effort to get there, they agreed to cook our breakfast for 4 people and serve us nice hot drinks. The food was great and they went above and beyond for us and even cooked an extra sausage for our dog. Certainly recommend this place for food and great service. Thankyou x

Most had 2 courses and two drinks. Came to approximately £28 a head and that included a tip. Will be back next time I am passing through.

Upon arrival I was astounded by the cleanliness of the place as soon as you hit the door,
Very very friendly/welcoming staff/table and all it's condiments were spotless/no sticky menus/cutlery was of great quality heavy and again gleaming/the decor and lay out was on point/coffee (normal coffee at that) was served with a lovely heart top ❤️/order was taken promptly and no sooner had 2 sips of coffee and both our food arrived and it was the yummiest breakfast I've ever had/everything was of great quality and cooked to absolute perfection, normally I would get a little reaction from fried food BUT it all went down very well ??
Quite reasonably priced and would definitely recommend to anyone living in Sleaford (I'm from Peterborough) and anyone even passing through to go there, it's open 7 days a week with a car park near by and they offer anything from breakfast to a roast dinner all days and all day ??? 5⭐ to all the staff cook and cleaners ????

19 Market Place, SleafordWe booked this restaurant for my 50th birthday meal. The table was for 30 people and they were not phased in anyway. We turned up and. The staff were friendly and engaging. Drinks orders were fast and came very quick. Poppadoms and chutney trays arrived and we're very good. \nStarters and mains were ordered and came fairly quick considering the amount of us. Food was piping hot and very tasty.

We sat in the bistro for food where the tapas and strawberry meringue were both delightful (and recommended by Lucy!), followed by some cocktails outside. All in all a really lovely place and highly recommend ??

21 N Gate, SleafordFirst time we’ve ordered from La Shish and it was pretty good. Came very quickly and earlier than expected. Food was piping hot. My wife did say the chicken tikka masala was a bit on the spicy side though. I had the lamb Biryani and was disappointed with the lack of lamb and was cut up very very small. I prefer the big chunks of lamb you would normally get in a Biryani. It’s ok, but I prefer Bombay Club. But they are far too expensive now, so will more than likely order again

5 Market Place, SleafordWe have honestly just had the most delicious meal delivered. So tasty, not greasy, meat sliced thinly in a good way as it was not dry, full of moisture. Really lovely meal (my waist band would disagree, but we all deserve a treat) delicious and we live far from the restaurant and usually take a huge hit on delivery fees but we ordered through the website and it was very reasonable. Delivery drivers are always so polite and friendly, cannot highlight that enough. Free bottle of drink but most importantly for my husband and daughter, the wings are stunning! Great place. Highly recommend. There is a reason this place is our “treat” I must add the staff in store called me to confirm the order, the attention to detail was appreciated.

We called and explained the error and were ready to pay for extra portion. 40 minutes later full order and more was delivered to us free of charge. We have tried to pay but the delivery driver only accepted a tip of £10. The order was for a total of around £35 - £40… outstanding service. Although we feel bad for not paying enough.

There's been some significant investment recently in expanding the outside seating areas, which are lovely to sit in. It's very cycle friendly as it's the home of the Sleaford Wheelers, but please remove cycling shoes before going inside due to the recently refurbished wood floor.

22 High St, Pointon, SleafordWas staying with friends at Highfields Fishing Retreat in Spanby nearby. They recommended Indian Takeaway from the Bombay Brasserie behind the Pub. Had a great experience ordering the Indian and while it was being prepared had a pint with my friend in the pub. Excellent staff behind the bar, very friendly and helpful. The beer was great and locally brewed. Mild that I had was one of the best I have had. My friend had the bitter which he also enjoyed. There is a beer garden at the back and, although the pub is not maybe as salubrious as some, it is an unpretentious local, which is also dog friendly. Also had a good range of keg beers and spirits. Definitely hope to visit again.

I would recommend.\nI only put 4 stars for atmosphere as it was quite a quiet evening probably because of the rain!.

Katie runs a great little watering hole and Nige in the kitchen know how to make crackling and decent gravy. My wife tells me the roast potatoes are excellent so if you are looking for a Sunday roast then book early to avoid disappointment. Wonderful pub owned by the community! ?

The staff were very welcome and the food menu was typical country pub style, home made and very tasty.
A pub worth stopping in when you’re passing by.

20d S Gate, SleafordWent last weekend for breakfast with my bestie as I was visiting the area from Lancashire, I had the eggs Istanbul which was INCREDIBLE! been dreaming about it since and will definitely be returning for them when I visit next.
The service was okay, we booked a table in advance and they were super busy when we arrived (not surprised with the delicious food and drinks), it’s quite open plan so loud when full of people. We were told we had to wait to order food as there were people before us but once ordered the food and drink came quite quickly, just felt a little rushed to leave as staff wanted the table which is a shame but wouldn’t put me off returning. The food and drink was worth it!

Staff friendly and welcoming, Ellie did exactly as I asked with my order, so many places can be quite dismissive so was refreshing to see someone attentive and friendly. Price wise good but not if you don’t enjoy it. Ordered an orange squash so weak hardly changed colour from tap water had to ask for more squash.Only one person serving steady stream of customers as lunch time. Waitress very polite and brought food out quickly made me think it was cooked earlier. Place was clean but Not the best weatherspoons for food.

We always go when visiting my brother up north and would never stop anywhere else on our route. We have been 10+ times over the last year and never had a bad meal!
