Lovely place, very friendly staff, the younger staff are very upbeat. On occasions I have noticed they need to get better at staying on top of clearing and cleaning tables regularly, this has been when the younger staff haven't been on, unfortunately the older staff were working when we found this the case.Parking: Parking available, not excess as it's located next to a petrol filling station.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide automatic sliding entrance and exit door

Insomnia a regional coffee chain, not to be confused with Insomnia Berlin, a sleazy sex club.There is nothing in Sleaford worthy of a visit, not even a coffee shop.A couple of years ago, an excellent streetfood market by the Millstream, the following year, it had sadly already gone downhill.Insomnia Sleaford is located on the outskirts of Sleaford, that located adjacent to a petrol station screams coffee chain.Walking in, it screams coffee chain.Mid-afternoon it was surprisingly busy. Is Sleaford that bad, the only attraction is a chain coffee shop next to a petrol station?Excellent coffee machine and grinder, it then went rapidly downhill.The FairTrade scam, pay farmers a pittance above commodity prices. Maintains farmers in poverty, as no incentive to improve quality.Coffee available in three different sizes, never a good sign. There is only one size, the correct size.I plumped for medium, which was too large. At least explains the man at the next table drinking from what looked like a small bucket.I just in time stopped chocolate being dumped on top of my cappuccino.It was awful. I took it back and asked for an espresso. I was asked what was wrong. If you can’t tell by looking, there is little hope.The espresso did not look good either.The espresso was not good, barely drinkable . I’ve had far worseThe staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful.Loud music, made conversation nigh impossible without being forced to shout.The building was cold, and got colder before the coffee shop closed.Sleaford needs a good coffee shop.Parking: Alongside a petrol station.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for disabled users.

Food was gorgeous. The coffee was out of this world. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was really clean even though it was so busy. Well worth a visit. Try it yourselves.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a wheelchair user and found it very easy.

The perfect coffee shop to just meet with a friend, take a book or just chill for an hour.Lovely and clean and well maintained with some lovely decor. They even have some board games available which came in handy with the kids.Lovely for lunch as they have sandwiches, wraps and cake which I've always thought was fresh and tasty.Staff are very friendly and fast service. I will deffo be a regular customer there. (Especially as they have a points app/card to get free stuff!)Parking: Loads of space to park as it's next to petrol stationKid-friendliness: Lovely place for kids and they are very welcome, even have games for them to play

Thankfully this coffee shop has 1 redeeming quality. It’s next to a spar where you can buy instant coffee and head home to make your own.We arrived at 4pm, were told we had to drink from paper cups as they close at 5Pm - they continued to tell each guest from that point that same thing - even collecting all spoons and loose crockery at 4:20 so they “could get my washing up done”.Coffee was not good, we left it behind. For a shop that has demand (it was just) you could honestly be doing a lot better.
A disappointing first experience.- Not the best welcome. Staff didn't appear very enthusiastic.- Smores hot chocolate was simply hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream?! Quite uninventive - they could have done so much!- Coffees tasted of the paper cups they were served in.- Very cold. Air-con in December?!- Had to clean the table ourselves - all available tables were not clear.Unfortunately, we won't be returning :-(
