Pie week, we had a really nice hot meal, steak and kidney + veg. The dessert tasted as good as it looked. Real ale, comfortable surroundings, well priced.Thank you.

A very friendly community run pub, we stopped by on a Saturday evening and they fitted us in with no notice despite being busy. The food was excellent, very reasonably priced and friendly staff. I only wish we lived nearer. It makes me wonder why larger brewery owned pubs can't achieve quality and price like this.Excellent ?
Love that they have a blanket box!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the play area

It is a pub owned by the village, very pleasant interior if a little dated. Had lunch with friends amd the food was very good indeed, sadly the beer was not to my taste.
