This place turned out to be a delightful surprise for lunch. The atmosphere was inviting, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. We decided to try their focaccia, and we were not disappointed. The bread was perfectly baked, with a nice crust and soft interior, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delicious combination of savory and aromatic ingredients. However, I must note a minor drawback: the latte I ordered didn't have a strong coffee flavor; it was quite light. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a satisfying lunch option. Also, it's dog friendly.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs. However no changing room inside as its brokenWheelchair accessibility: No steps to get inside.

Very busy cafe. Food was good but didn't like the spicy baked beans, don't go with a full English.

Whenever I visit family in Spalding we always go to Ascoughee cafe for breakfast. It really is the best food in the area and the setting is beautiful- not to mention the lovely welcoming staff! I’d give it more stars if I could.

Just had to jump and pop a review on so I can share the love for this little hidden gem!! I use the cafe often and have never had a bad meal. Their menu is the best in the area for lunch options. Sometimes just a coffee will do but always with a slice of their home baked cakes which are to die for. Service is excellent, always with a smile, extremely polite and attentive! Nothing is ever too much bother. Thank you Ayscoughfee and I’ll be back very soon!

After a long time of hearing good things about this little café, me and the other half thought that we would give it a try. And wow! What a fantastic experience, from the beautiful gardens and koi pond, to the amazing breakfast that we were served, and we didn't even realise what a gem we would find on our doorstep! We were of course sceptical as it was just a café but wow it is so much more! I ordered the full English, and my other half ordered the eggs royal, but of course had to add avocado to it, which did not pose any issue to the friendly staff! In next to no time at all a lovely young lady came over with our food and was very attentive to ensure that we had evenerything that we needed. The food...THE FOOD..absolutely incredible, to say that I felt full after the full English would be an understatement, and everything just tasted fresh, rather than the plate of beige grease that I was accustomed to from other establishments! And before we even had a chance to taste either breakfasts, the presentation beckoned it to be framed and placed in a gallery! Truly two meals that showcased a full utilisation of local produce and more importantly FRESH produce! Fantastic, fantastic, FANTASTIC! Much more than just breakfast, it was an experience! One that I can tell will remain unmatched in my opinion!

Arrived at 09.50hrs and was told immediately the cafe wasn't open until 10am which is fine.. I asked to look at a menu while i waited only to have a very rude young man aggressively tell me ' it's not open until 10am' Funnily enough I'd worked out the opening time but I can also read a menu out of hours.. What an unfriendly bunch of young people.. Note to the owner: don't let children run your business..

I love going to the cafe at Ayscoughfee hall. Brilliant food and brilliant surroundings. You can sit outside and see the pond and the fountains. Not the cheapest but well worth the price.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Kids options for food and drinksWheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp leading into the cafe.

The first time I have been unable to eat the food here. It was cold. The sausage was barely cooked. Coffee was warm. I know we sat outside but the food was cold from the get go. It was as if it had been prepared then left somewhere before serving. I've always praised the food from here but this was not good. So disappointing.
