Amici Restaurant

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, full of authentic Italian flavours and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The family who own and run it are lovely people; friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can tell they love what they do and are passionate about cooking food that their parents made for them. You can tell everything is homemade and it tasted delicious too. A true gem that I can’t recommend highly enough. I’ll definitely be returning!

Gurkha Oven

Went to the Gurkha this evening with a garlic allergy. They were so attentive and responded with excellent care and attention. They were honest about the limitations to what I could order. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were polite, professional and friendly. We will definitely book again.

KATANA Japanese Cuisine (Teppanyaki & sushi)

Had a very enjoyable meal here. The food was well prepared and tasty (I had rib eye teppanyaki), and the service was exceptional.

It was a Sunday night so it was very quiet. But we’ll definitely come back another day, perhaps on a Friday or Saturday evening and perhaps sit at the table where the meat is cooked in front of you.

Edit: Came back and had an amazing meal, genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. The food is delicious but the experience is also excellent - the chef lets you try flipping an egg into your hat, and tosses rice towards you for you to catch in your mouth. Great food and great fun.

The Curry Inn

Nice curry,I wrote a review 6 years ago and it was ok,it has since been refurbed and we started to go back we have been 4 times in the past few weeks and it has been better.we went on Friday and it just went downhill,staff very attentive, but we ordered the de luxe mixed grill,it came up on a small bowl with all the meat crammed in,it was burnt at the bottom ,there was no nice onions sizzling on the bowl,I could not tell which meat was from the other,supposed to be two king prawns I found a shrivelled up excuse for a prawn,the chike was overcooked,I could go on but just don't order the mixed grill. All in all I am reluctant to go back the portions are small .sorry the manager and staff are great,but the food

Caffè Nero

My wife and I went on 14/05/25 to Caffe Nero. The hard-working staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered 2 Cortados and 2 Almond Croissants. The Cortados were made to perfection. The coffee was excellent. And the Almond Croissants were superb. Just the right amount of moisture. Just perfect. So tasty. We will certainly return. Thanks to everyone involved for your hard work and the smiles.

Ayscoughfee Hall Cafe by Harringtons

It’s a café in a park. Sitting outside was pleasant on a sunny day, and the food was a lovely surprise. I get tired of café menus that are all bread and baked potatoes - this place was different, and better! There were several salad options, and a Buddha bowl too. I chose the chicken, crispy bacon, avocado and asparagus salad and it was truly delicious. The bacon was properly crispy, there was plenty of chicken, and the whole thing was well presented and well dressed too - salad dressings are another thing that cafés often get wrong, but not this one. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Eastern Delight

I have no words. It’s the best take away place I’ve eaten, specially for Holbeach. From my first order it has never disappointed me. The kebabs are 10/10, the burgers both beef and chicken are amazing with the nacho cheese fries and the wings. Tried the Philly steak that had proper rib eye steak with their special sauce. I can’t fault this place, if you want a good take away, that has flavour, comes boiling hot and good for value. THIS IS YOUR PLACE. There are only two places I order from and this is the top!

Turkish Best Kebab

I've been using Best kebab in Spalding since it opened.
I'm disappointed when I go elsewhere.
Spalding best kebab is without doubt the best kebab for miles around.
Fast delivery, food arrives hot, and is the most tasty hot meat, crispy, fresh salad, juicy pitta bread you'll ever likely to have.
I only wish that I had a picture to share with you, but it's gone! It's all gone!

Always so warm and welcoming. Fabulous staff, hot, freshly made food. Josh and Jamie were outstanding. The atmosphere is just what you want, welcoming and friendly. Furnishing and ambience spot on. Turners Fish Restaurant

I've eaten plenty of fish and chips from plenty of different places. This, in my estimation - is one of the best fish & chips shops in Lincolnshire, if not the UK! Keep up the good work.

First time visit to this branch and the only negative was one member of staff.Initially when I approached the counter there were two members of staff behind the counter (didn't get names), a taller gentleman and a shorter person.The shorter one had no customer service skills what so ever, when I approached the counter there was no greeting, no "how can I help ", absolutely nothing, the shorter one just stood there and stared at me.I requested the first couple of items and then asked about an item that was not out, This was my first interaction with the taller gentleman. He said " just a moment" and came back and said the what I was after would be a couple of minutes. It was not a problem as I was in no hurry.As soon as it was ready it was brought out to me with professionalism and good manners.The order itself was okay normal Greggs bakes and sausage rolls. My only gripe with the food was that the vegan sausage roll was cold, but in the time they have been out, I don't think I've ever had a hot one.Over all good experience, all bar the one person behind the counter who customer service does not come naturally.

Great fish and chips. Having moved from Surrey, where standard fish and chip shops are absolutely awful. These are definitely on par with the fish and chips I grew up with in Brighton.

Went into shop to order pizzas to be delivered at our Camping & caravan site later in the evening. Lovely helpful people, excellent on time friendly delivery and our pizzas were delicious and still hot on delivery ? many thanks ?

Holbeach Pizza & Kebab House

Just had a large Donnor with separate salad, my wife and I always share one as to big to eat one each.. I have to say it was absolutely banging, lovely crispy white and red cabbage with sweet raw onions and a flat bread filled with succulent donnor meat, chili sauce a bit to fierce for me but the wife loves it. Well done team, thought you deserved a mention to a job well done.

Excellent pizza for Individual and also event catering . Several times now planned large orders for delivery for work event . Great communication , planning and on time delivery with piping hot pizza for our lunch sessions and also night shift too . Will be using again and would highly recommend

RUSTIC Spalding

My wife and I came before a show at the South Holland Centre, which is a five minute walk away.

It was a family run business with nice comfortable seats and music that wasn't so loud you couldn't hear each other speak.

The lady (Taz?) was really polite and chatty. She made recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was awesome and the portion sizes were ample. The desserts were superb too. Made better because the prices were good.

No faults from us. We'll come again next time we're in Spalding.

FABs

FAB Kitchen in Spalding is a great takeaway option. The food is delicious, and it offers great value for the price. The dishes are tasty, and it's a worthwhile choice for a meal.
The menu includes options like the Chicken Fillet Burger Meal and spicy wings. They also have Pepperoni and Margherita pizzas, and customers can create their own pizzas. Desserts include Chocolate Fudge Cake and Vanilla Cheesecake Slice.

Popped in tonight for a bite to eat! The service was exceptional - so nice to see these days!

We opted for the two course meal at £17 (Mon- Thurs) we both had the steak & ale pie which was really tasty. My friend opted for the Baileys donut for dessert and in her words ‘it was obscene’ she practically inhaled it - I opted for the chocolate orange dessert with coconut ice cream - the ice cream was to die for!

Will definitely be back! ??

I have ordered from here several times. A mixture of collections and deliveries. I cant fault a single problem. Every time the food has been amazing and not this greasy stuff either. It always tastes amazing and well wrapped. On collection the food has always been warm by the time im home. With delivery my food was at my door within 20 minutes and piping hot. My favourite place in town

When we go in they are always so friendly and welcome and orders don’t take long. The delivery drives are friendly too. This is our go to take away place.

Absolutely beautiful food. Never any issues with our food and amendments. Mary at the front is absolutely fantastic, couldn't ask for a more accommodating front of house - so welcoming and so personable. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Holbeach for a Chinese.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and really nice main courses. Let down by desserts not being homemade. Cheesecake was soggy and tasteless and sticky toffee pudding not good. If was not for this would get 5 stars

Excellent food great staff my elderly mum wanted beans on toast 1 bacon and 1 sausage. Lady asked if my mum was a big eater we said no. She suggested just beans on toast. Good choice mum couldn't even finish her beans on toast. Really friendly and food served very quickly.

Unique lovely space that boasts a friendly neighborly atmosphere. Barman and all customers are friendly. They offer ales from local breweries, many of the names were drawn from the history of the town.

The Waters Edge

As there was only one other customer we were able to choose where to sit. Two televisions to watch - one seemingly devoted to sports. Quiet and friendly. Dog friendly too.

Crystal Inn

First visit here and what can I say it was lovely. What a hidden gem. We had a table for four. Food was great we had the classic set menu. The food was tasty, hot and delicious. The staff and service were fabulous. Will definitely be going back.

Had a great night at the Karaoke night. Great atmosphere and very welcoming.
Good sound from Karaoke, only gripe was that there was too much DJ ing in between the singing, so only got two sings each

Costa Coffee

I paid a visit today with my wife, after ordering our drink I visited the condiments counter there was no white suger, when asked the staff I was told no, when I ask could you not have told me prior to me ordering as my wife cant have brown sugar due to allergies. The lady said its not my job to inform customer's there is no suger, when I said in fact it is, I ran out to get suger from else where, whilst out my wife could hear the staff criticise me to another customer when my wife asked for the ladies name as we wished to complain, both members of staff became confrontational and rude, they didn't like that we challenged we explained the reason was allergies, to which i was told well wear a badge. At this point we were asked to leave which we did.

We have to say we will never step food in there again

Where do I start, we had an appointment in Donnington and stumbled across this little beaut of a pub! The staff were really friendly, the pub was clean and fresh. We had the fish and chips sharing platter and it was amazing. The food that was coming out the kitchen all looked amazing, fresh, home cooked, you couldn't ask for more! We will be back

The Olde Ship Inn

Went about 6pm on a Thursday evening.

Easy parking.

Serves traditional British pub food cooked by chefs and all homemade.

I can recommend the homemade Steak pie served with vegetable and mash, other options available too.

Beautifully cooked and prepared. My wife's chicken burger was really nice too, served with chips and salad and coleslaw but with other options available too.

I would recommend you book ahead of your busy because this hidden gem is popular locally.

Bar snacks are also available on the menu.

Will go again.

The Loft

As a lover of good portions and good quality, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. We havent been out for breakfast since bookmark closed, so had to try somewhere new and we were not disappointed and the price was excellent value, including a hot drink with the meal. Could not want for anymore.

Went for breakfast this morning with the wife and grandchildren ... omg I had the full English that was so delicious the wife had a cheese omelette she absolutely loved it and the gremlins had pancakes with Nutella and bananas .. and sprinkles the food and service was amazing and to top it off bought MASSIVE slices of batternberg cake from the bakery below highly recommend this place if you go as you won't be disappointed

Lovely coffee shop. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was prepared while we waited and was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Went for Sunday dinner and I can highly recommend the Sunday lunch it was one of the best I've tasted.. All fresh and the choice of meats and veggies was excellent. Don't get me started on the amazing gravy ?. Great value for money and the option of a desert if you have room.. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Lovely food, very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was very welcoming and was happy to have a chat with you. Made completely fresh and tasted delicious when we got back. Will definitely be going back.

Kan-Ton

Our regular delivery of Chinese was getting a bit lack luster so we tried Kanton for the first time this evening. When dialled it was engaged for a good 5 mins or so, so thinking from previous experience with other places it'd be quick and adhoc delivery. Oh how I like to be wrong... what a treat. We ordered a range of dishes and each and everyone was mouthwatering. Please pass thanks to the chef! It was perfect temperature, delivered in 45 minutes. Will definitely be returning.

Oh my god that was beautiful me and partner went in tonight for the first time after years of using central fish bar in holbeach and honestly these are the best fish and chips in the area abd id say best in lincolnshire. I had fish and chips and a battered beef burger which was lovely, partner had fish cake and chips, also beautiful. Chip portion sizes where perfect aswell especially compared to central where a large feeds a family of 4 and a small feeds a family of 3. These were perfect regular and large portions. Oh and as for cost holbeach 20 quid plus for 2 people, here 16 quid with the burger to try so no burger less than 15 quid for 2 people id say thats a damm bargain in todays world

Had fish and chips, with sausage and curry sauce, two weeks in a row, food was delicious and piping hot and still hot when we got home, I recommend takeaway any day. Thanks Jacqui

Something Special

With certain establishments you get the feeling that you are being rushed to eat up and go. This is certainly not the case with Something Special at Birchgrove, in fact the opposite is true. As for the food itself you certainly get your money's worth in terms of quantity and quality. Some might say that the choice of menu is limited but that can be a good thing as it means you don't have to spend ages on deciding what to have. After eating there you'll probably won't need to eat for the rest of the day! However I would strongly recommend pre booking beforehand to ensure you get a table, especially if there is a few of you.

The Pied Calf

Wow! Wow! Wow! I have lived here for years and only just discovered this place has magnificent food! The quality is outstanding, and the value for money is second to none! We used to eat at the local Wetherspoons, but no more! The Pied Calf knocks the socks off Spoons when it comes to quality, choice, and price, and the staff are wonderful! ????? P.S. I ate my food without taking a picture, but the picture of the double burger on the menu is exactly what I got!

St Barnabas Hospice Charity Shop (Spalding)

Wonderful selection, always find something great in there at a decent price. Staff generally are very friendly, always love to chat with the gentleman in there. The lady with the Northern accent always seems very chatting with other customers, but I’ve always found her quite abrupt/rude with me, despite being a regular. Can barely get a ‘Hello’ from her.

We had ice cream here. Lots of lovely flavours.The server found it difficult to hear me over the counter and got the orders wrong.... But it was okayThe door was in an awkward place re the queue and getting in and out.It was Busy noisy day as was the flower show. Staff were run off their feet.We will try again on a quieter day!

Great service this morning from staff. Really nice sandwiches and freshly made salads. Loads of choice! Way nicer than the ready made stuff from the shops and better value for money too!

Last experience wasn't so good. But today if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Food was so warm like it was just taken out of bakery. Even if they didn't had full set of steak beaks call was fast and pleasant delivery even faster than expected

This is probably one of the best fish and chips I have ever had it tastes so good and so filing. Portions are really big and the fish is just amazing 100% deserve 5 stars!!

Subway

Went here to get something quick to eat as a celiac it can be difficult with a gluten allergy. Staff were amazing and got fresh containers of what they could. Wipes the side down before starting to make my sandwich and even offered to clean the table I was sat at.
Connor and the manageress went above and beyond. The rest of the staff was very professional, courteous and accommodating.

The Ivy Wall - JD Wetherspoon

It was busy which is good, got a latte from coffee machine and it wasn't hot so had to wait for machine to be sorted. Had breakfast with a friend and it was really nice and the prices are good too.

Great cafe whilst shopping or just to pop in for a break , could do with a bit more atmosphere as so big , maybe some low level table areas with soft sofas and chairs to give it more of a cafe feel ?
