“This is such a lovely Indian restaurant. It is by far the best in the area - we have been here about a dozen times now -each time bringing different friends to experience the wonderful food. The prawn puri starter is my favourite - a thin pancake stuffed with a spicy prawn and vegetable mix in a delicious sauce. I keep meaning to try other things but I enjoy it so much I always opt for it! I can't resist! The place is always immaculately clean and the food is always hot, tasty and beautifully presented. The staff are welcoming and efficient and always smiling. They do not serve alcohol so take your own - they provide glasses - but they do serve soft drinks. Perhaps one of the best nights to go is a Wednesday banquet night - try something new - try my prawn puri! And that reminds me - see you all tomorrow night!”

“Overall, this was a lovely meal (last night).All of the staff we interacted with were super-friendly and welcoming. I can see why they would have loyal customers on this alone.The food was reasonably priced and overall very nice… Just not the best compared to some other Indian restaurants I’ve been to.The decor is in need of an update - the chairs all look like they were taken from a skip and the paint spills over from walls onto the plug sockets and windows. There are lights missing from parts of the ceiling. However, this doesn’t lessen the charm of the place - these are good, hard-working people who put out good food and good service.Everyone was also offered a free shot of Baileys on departure from the meal.”

“Visited on a Sunday evening. Some of our group came from Kent. . We had a lady who could not eat dairy or wheat. ( Due to medication). They could not have been more understanding. Making recommendations and explaining the menu . Although due to medication her appetite was very small they boxed the left overs and she was able to take home. The rest of the party didn't have that problem. Empty plants and very satisfied. Excellent food, and excellent staff. The family from Kent commented that it was the best Indian they had visited, and these guys are well travelled.Dietary restrictions: Well informed on all ingredients. Could not have asked for more help.”
