Very chatty staff, I mean the owner ? Food they are serving is nice too. Fish, bites and scampi pieces not soaked with oil like some do. Pannier is light and actually edible. Didn't try chips recently as I mostly avoid ordering them as I hate mushy potatoes dipped in oil, but I am sure they would fry them twice for me.

Very nice local chippy. Didn't even know this existed until I drove down the street. Only downside is to use your card, you'll have to spend a minimum of £6. Other than that prices for cod, chips etc are good.

A fantastic, family-run and award winning fish and chip shop. Items cooked fresh to order. Staff are very polite and presentable. The shop is immaculately clean. They have a five star food hygiene rating and have won national awards for being the best fish and chip shop. Reasonably priced too. As is quite understandable they often get very busy with customers but they deal with everyone efficiently and politely. They also have a mobile fish and chip trailer if you want to hire them for an event. It would make an interesting wedding reception meal. I would highly recommend this establishment and I will certainly be returning.
