My friend and I called in today for tea and tea cakes and I must say the level of service we received today was exemplary. We asked for the waitress’s name (Debbie) as she was so good. Food was very nice too

Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice service, tasty cakes and coffee. A charming place for a tasty meal, a quick coffee or a long chat with friends. nice place and lovely decorations.

Very yummy lunch! I had a very tasty prawn and Marie rose open sandwich and they do great smoothies and milkshakes. The cafe is very pretty and there are lots of lovely things to buy. I didn’t give 5 stars as I didn’t see a children’s menu.

This was our second visit and great service, coffee and great food. Even the dog got lots of fuss. Will be back for more of the same. Thank you.

A very nice old fashioned & quaint Tea rooms, with a great variety menu of hot/cold food & drinks. Clean & tidy, covid safe & child friendly.

Food was good but sandwiches were literally just cut in half with crusts still on. Not what you’d expect in an afternoon tea. I didn’t get pig in blanket which I should have, but could see they were just shop bought ones. The mince pies were shop bought, so too was the stollen. There are other places in the area which offer afternoon tea and the food is all homemade. This was edible but disappointed with quality. We were constantly asked if we wanted a box and in the end they just put the boxes on the table; they could have just told us they wanted us to leave after a certain time rather than rushing us.
