So disappointed in Prezzo - having been to the one in Leeds for years, we decided on a festive trip to the branch near my parents (Spalding). We had the absolute displeasure of being served by ‘Magdalena’ who I felt had an attitude from the moment we walked in. Our food arrived so late we had to leave before we could even eat due to seeing a show. We thought giving ourselves 2 hours would be enough time in a not-overly-busy restaurant but clearly not. Another big chain with no regard for their regulars.

Dreadful service… waited 1.5 hours for our food and had to leave before it arrived as we would have missed our theatre trip. Three very young children went without their tea. Still charged us £75 for drinks and starters… no apologies…. We will not go

The food is nice but expensive for what it is and it was very noisy in there, although that is not the fault of Prezzo, just noisy people who have to make themselves heard above others.

It's a shame. We were lured in with the prospect of either a free prosecco or 2 desserts for my birthday. But if you go for this option, you can not use Tesco vouchers. The prices have gone right up, and to be honest, value isn't there, and service was a bit up its own. Shame, but from now on, we will stick to independent businesses that offer great value and great service.

Was a lovely relaxing atmosphere, service was good not rushed, my food was so tasty and well presented.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but looking through menu there was a good choice of food.Parking: We went for evening meal, so the car park straight opposite was free, it's payable during day.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors plenty wide enough for wheelchair entry, and to get around in restaurant.

I cannot thank Magdalena and staff enough for their hospitality and understanding tonight. My wife has Alzheimer's, and is not always the easiest person to communicate with. However, Magdalena and Paula went above and beyond to make us both feel very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and even served a half portion of a dish to accommodate my wife's appetite. It was spot on interms of portion size and I had the same dish, full-sized; Spaghetti Carbonara with Chicken al forno! It was extremely delicious and I would definitely be visiting Prezzo of Spalding soon and hopefully repeat the experience.
