Had coffee and cake huge slab of cake. So went back on the Sunday morning and had the large breakfast it was large and superb

Can't rate the food here highly enough! It's all delicious and the portions are generous. Homemade cakes to die for too. New location in Birchgrove brings more space without compromising on character. Highly, highly recommended

It's a lot more spacious which is really nice but it's also great because it's in a garden centre! Really the most perfect cafe! Oooh and I almost forgot their mocha! My partner ordered one and I had to try it.... it tastes like how a mocha should! Its the only place that does a mocha that tastes like what I think a mocha should and its under £3! I never order a mocha because they never live up to my expectations but that one exceeded them! Can't wait to go back and get one for myself!

Sometimes I give 5 star reviews out a bit willy-nilly, but this sweet little business really is 5-star worthy. I did write a massive essay of a review but it went on a bit, so I'll condense it down.Staff : Great. Very friendly, approachable, and seem to enjoy their work. We've never had a problem being seated, but we typically visit after lunch / before tea, around 13:45/14:00. I'd imagine it could be very busy at peak times, but I generally avoid all businesses at peak times.Puddings and desserts : Massive. I swear the portion sizes are at least twice what you get elsewhere for cake and a pudding. Not just big though - size is nothing without quality. These are massive and also the best cakes and desserts I've had locally. I forgot to mention when I was visiting earlier - mum said her warm Bakewell tart was 'absolutely delicious'. I agree, I might have snuck a spoonful of it ;)Pricing : In-line with other cafes of this type - but with the portion sizes taken into account it's actually quite a bargain. I'm a big lad and I'm still full of the banofee pie I had for lunch.Today we had 2 x different coffees and 2 x pudding with ice cream on both - this came in at under £15. Not cheap - but at the same time it represents excellent value for money!(feels a bit daft writing this review as I don't want them getting so busy I can't get a table, given they are plenty busy enough as is!)

Omg just had lunch at something special in birch grove garden Centre it was amazing the quiche melted in my mouth and the baked potatoes were lovely and fluffy the portions were generous and the service was excellent we will be regulars ! Thankyou
This place is lovely. Friendly owner ... Nice feel to the place and the food is outstanding. Don't just trust me, get along there yourself to experience a great visit.

Delicious ? Just been there with my partner. We ate in many places around Spalding and so far "Something Special" is the winner. Lovely breakfast. And fruity tea, that's what I like. Will come back there for sure.
