Really nice, friendly pub, excellent service, tasty food and great beers. Well worth a visit.

I booked at table. When we arrived we were told we'd have to wait an hour for food. Then the waiter came back and said because we had booked we wouldn't have to wait. Gave us a nenu and stated we should have pre ordered our food and a table of 15 had pre ordered so there wasn't any beef left. So there was only pork left for roast dinner. We didn't stay we left. Not very impressed at all

The experience in this pub was absolutely disgusting. No.1 we had to struggle to find a way in because my partner is a wheelchair user. No.2 there was only 1 member of staff to run the bar and the restaurant. This led to use not being attended to properly we had drunk over half of our drink before we even had our order taken. No. 3 The server then tried to make out that is was our fault we had walked in and there were too many customers for her to deal with. No. 4 When I started to complain another table then got involved in my complaint which is was alright for them as they already had there food. This led us to walking out and not paying for drinks. I do not understand how this bar/restaurant remains open with service like this avoid at all costs.

Me and the husband had a lovely steak pie meal for lunch,very nice food and my dog had some chicken sausages,he was happy with is sausage.

What a lovely place, staff were so friendly. The young man behind the bar was so nice and funny, took me back a bit as not used to this sort of service, lucky to get a smile in some places I go in back home, told me his name but alas I cannot remember it, it was unusual though. Food was spot on and prices were good

Ordered two cold drinks and an Irish coffee. Waited for over 50 mins in a not particularly busy pub and the Irish coffee still didn’t arrive. Daughter checked that they hadn’t forgot. Was told it was on its way and after an hour asked for a refund! Choose a nice little coffee shop instead!
