Wow! Wow! Wow! I have lived here for years and only just discovered this place has magnificent food! The quality is outstanding, and the value for money is second to none! We used to eat at the local Wetherspoons, but no more! The Pied Calf knocks the socks off Spoons when it comes to quality, choice, and price, and the staff are wonderful! ????? P.S. I ate my food without taking a picture, but the picture of the double burger on the menu is exactly what I got!

We were a party of 6 with a child. We ordered our food in couples except for with child. The table had been booked previously therefore when we ordered we assumed it would be obvious we were a group. Our food was served as couples the first couple had finished their food before the couple with a child were served. The staff then proceeded to clear the table before everyone had finished eating this I find really rude!!In answer to your reply we did book the table for 6 adults and 1 child with a high chair. We didn't just walk in.

We don’t live locally but we booked here for a family meal. There is an extensive menu which was very good value for money. We didn’t realise it was a sports bar, and may not have booked if we had. However, the staff were amazing, extremely attentive including bar staff and kitchen staff. We had a lovely meal and would go again.
Great, friendly staff on two occasions I visited. I also took a friend I met in Spalding there, he did not know the cafe existed (he rarely gets out btw). He also had a great time watching a live football match between Newcastle United and Sunderland FC I think...Wheelchair accessibility: There's no wheelchair access.

Absolutely great night called in on short notice met with friendly staff who gave a great service. Food was delicious and plenty full. Staff happy to accommodate the group having a birthday cake. Highly recommended. With special thanks to Trevor who went the extra mile to make the birthday girl and party feel welcomed.
