Nice little chippy with small side eating area. Staff very pleasant. Lots of repeat custom. Fish was very fresh. Chips were excellent. Mushy peas, curry sauce etc all available. Cash, card or phone payments available.

We live in Eastville and we ordered our first Ambridges delivery for a £5.00 charge .Well we were amazed. The Fish was so hot so fresh and tasty the large chips were delicious and very large.Thankyou to all the staff at Ambridges Especially the cook you made our Friday night ! An immaculately presented well run traditional fish and chip shop - friendly staff and you usual offers on the menu in a few unusual extras, such as Spam and chips, pineapple fritter and chips and cod roe and chips. Delicious fresh fried battered cod, haddock and plaice are among the options - excellent quality and very fairly priced .

Chips wasn't the worst chips I've ever had & the service was good to a point but the prices are quite expensive really & the chips were all stuck together making them difficult to eat with a wooden fork & mushy. The lady asked if we wanted Salt & Vinegar too & we both said yes please but there was barely a dribble of Salt & Vinegar put on the chips making them tasteless & like eating paper. I would not return if I'm completely honest even if it is quite local.

Best fish and chips we have had in a while , batter lovely, and a good size piece of fish , we had delivery, and they were piping hot , delicious.
Our order was delicious and the portions are very generous. Thoroughly recommend Ambridge Fisheries. The lady taking our telephone order was so helpful, went out of her way to be so. Very grateful for the delivery service, the driver was extremely friendly.

First time in Spilsby and found this great little chippy on the main road. Eat in or takeaway and even delivery service! We ate in and lovely friendly, helpful staff. Meals cooked to order and quick efficient service. Meal nicely cooked and reasonable prices. Great find and just what we needed for a quick dinner.
