Main Rd, SpilsbyWe visited for Sunday lunch. Was busy, most tables full. Decent size, low ceilings, lovely space outside for sitting, and further to the rear is camping pitches. Service was smooth and friendly, food was good.
Very freshly cooked, not over cooked steamed veggies just how I like them. Roast potatoes not very crispy but otherwise tip top. Partner had very good portion of leg of lamb which he enjoyed. I had the nut roast which was one of the better nut roasts I've had (rice based, seeds and nuts and mushrooms i think).
Will definitely visit again. Lovely vibe, lovely grub

1 Boston Rd, SpilsbyOn a long distance bike ride today in the heat(26C) and had no water and was really struggling. The bartender was happy to fill bottles and she even included ice! Really grateful for you guys possible saving me from major dehydration(there were still 15 miles to go at that point)

After booking our car in to a garage early morning we called into the cafe to have a breakfast, the cooked breakfast was excellent including the toast, we both had tea, it's really good tea with a choice.Very polite, friendly, great atmosphere it's lovely and clean too.Several choices of sandwiches etc too and hot and cold drinks. We will definitely be back. Great place.

6-8 Market St, SpilsbyWas here with my partner, my Sisters family & Great Aunt with her friend.Chose Tuna Jacket Potato with Salad, really good, soft & tasty. This was followed by a Jam Sponge with custard. Everything was hot as it should be and cooked just right.Glad my Aunt who is local (I was visiting from Kent) mentioned about coming here. She knows the staff as she's a regular. Had a nice warmth to the place.

2 Park View, South Ormsby, LouthGreat untouched pub in the wolds serving a delicious and generous Sunday lunch with a choice of Beef Pork and Chicken ( sometimes sausages and pie also) followed by a choice of desserts ( the sponge is so light we love it!) Matt is always so jolly and friendly even though he’s always rushed off his feet and Lisa is a great cook! Great value too !
Dogs are welcome and the fire is a welcome sight after a walk in the wolds before lunch.
It’s cash only due to poor WiFi. Really look forward to going.

Four of us all agreed the best pub meal we could remember served by lovely staff who couldn't do enough to make us feel to home.
Good portions at reasonable prices
The lamb shank with mint mash was delicious.
If only it was nearer to home we'd be regulars.
