We live 15 miles away from red lion, went there 2 weeks ago good food beer lovley bar staff also lovley lady who takes food order.So we went back today same service exeped there was two locals also in there we had seen before husband at the bar having a drink his wife sitting down without one,The boss. think his name was richard said to the lady you not having a drink then she said no but my husband is,His reply well you are sitting in my chair very unprofessional and rude she complained to the young bar staff and to her husband.So Mr boss man last time you will see me or my family in your pub, obviously you dont need the business.

Dined here many times. Every time a real pleasure. Spent new years here, had a fantastic supper and a party. I am disabled and thr staff and patrons made me feel welcome and part of the festivities.The food is very good. Very good quality meat and a wide range of dishes. Good selection of beers and wines. Love it here!Has a lovely outside seating area for the summer.Parking: Plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Bit of a struggle with a wheelchair. There are some steps and the toilets are too small to maneuver. So, I took my walker and was able to get around and use the toilets with no problems.

This was our second visit and what a find!!!!!We will most certainly be back when visiting family in Spilsby. Food and service excellent. I would certainly go just for the banana fritters.

This is by far the best pub lunch I have ever had. I get very irritated when a lot of pub menus lack imagination and variety. Normally they are stuffed with the same old food choices but this pub is different. The menu offered options which were both interesting and when the food arrived it was excellently presented and cooked. In addition to all this was the service which was very very friendly and helpful. Angie and Sally were fantastic staff and very welcoming. This added to the experience which I would rate as outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff which was very much appreciated when trying to look after my two elderly parents and their specific needs. I thoroughly recommend this pub who are also very dog friendly too. Lovely food and lovely staff what more could you ask for!

A fantastic evening at the Red Lion Inn, delicious food with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We had a selection of dishes all of which were delicious, I had the pan fried hake with wild boar tortellini which was cooked to perfection. Richie is a very talented chef who never team never disappoints. All the team are friendly and attentive.

My friend lives nearby and we booked lunch here when his pub was closed. He had never visited the pub before but he intends making eating here a regular event. He has mobility problems and the staff could not be more helpful in getting us in and to a convenient table with chairs with arms he can use to help get in and out of the seat. The menu is fantastic, a huge range of options and the food was excellent. As well as being helpful, all the staff were very pleasant and eating here was a joy. We ended up spending several hours eating and talking at our table. We even got to witness Dan playing happy birthday on his violin to another table. Cannot recommend the pub too highly.
