Stopped at the restaurant for Sunday dinner (4 adults & 2 children), loads of food, really well cooked to perfection! The table next door had someone with an allergy and they knew exactly what they could offer. Great service, and the best Sunday roast I’ve eaten out in a long time! Highly recommended!

While Visiting family we was invited to dine here. Starters were ok however steak was inedible and as a result None of the others at out table could enjoy their meal. We didn't stay for pudding and went home.Food & drinks: Flavourless with no seasoning

Slow service, drinks came in dribs and drabs, no ice or lemon in Vodka and lemonade. Steak very grisly, informed waitress and said she would mention to kitchen, no response. Fish dry, Chicken Stack rubbery, vegetarian Wellington was ok though. Table next to us didn’t eat their steak either but was temoved from their bill. Could be a lovely place with a bit more attention to detail and better customer service, all beit our first waitress was trying very hard and was fairly new, she was doing fine. We had to find staff to pay our bill after waiting ages for tea or coffee, which we never got! All in all no return visit from us!

We have just returned from a New Year’s Day meal with the family. We were all very impressed with the food. It was cooked to perfection with high standards throughout. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The service was excellent, everyone who served us did so with a smile and they were very busy. A real credit. It wasn’t our first visit, and certainly won’t be our last. We’re just considering when we can arrange a date for our return. ?

Food was very good however I thought the service could have been slightly better. We had to ask for the menu. I eat out a lot and the menu has normally been given to us shortly after we have sat down. Not 30 minutes later. The atmosphere of the pub itself is a typical country pub - excellent. Overall very good.

We had a lovely meal at The Thatched Cottage tonight, considering there were 17 of us food was lovely, hot and served very efficiently, the staff were both helpful and attentive. Will definitely be going back soon.

Stayed in campsite behind thatched cottage pub,loverly plots very good showers and toilets nice walk around woods food in pub very good and staff were very friendly and helpful,bus stopped couple yards from pub one way to Spalding other way to Boston,fishing lakes on site and a ducks and loverly fish

A lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was exceptional. A group of 6 we all chose different mains and desserts and we were all very happy with our meals. The gluten free options were excellent especially the fish and chips. This was our first visit and we will definitely visit again

Had Sunday lunch here as part of a group staying on camp site. Service for 14 was very good. I had roast lamb which was served with a bed of mash, roasted potatoes and a large Yorkshire pudding on top. Vegetable selection were leeks in cheese sauce and a medley of red cabbage, broccoli and roasted cubed root vegetables. Very nice meal and very filling. I did not need the dessert but had already pre-ordered it. £15 one course, £20.00 for 2. Nice food and very popular.
