The place was lovely and clean even with the football on it was a great atmosphere.Vegetarian options: I wish there were a few more options maybe a vegetarian pie would be greatKid-friendliness: Great for families with plenty of room for a pram
Decent beer selection that changes regularly. Good pub grub, not gastropub, but tasty nonetheless. There's a dedicated eating area in the Lounge or you could choose the Bar area to mingle or play some pool. They have regular live bands with a cross-section of genres.

We went as a family of 7 for a meal on a Monday afternoon.The service was very friendly & good ,the food was amazing!It was really good quality, presentation was spot on & everything tasted so good.We all had desserts too which were delicious.The Black Bull has a very good menu choice at reasonable prices too.They provided our late mum's funeral wake in November which again was a lovely spread of food at a very good price.
