“Visited for food for the first time last night. The ambience and welcome from all the staff was absolutely perfect. The food we had was delicious and extremely tasty, especially the loaded fries, will be definitely returning as the whole experience was a pleasure from beginning to end.”

“A traffic accident led us to pulling in here, and to our surprise it’s a great wee pub. Being from down south, couldn’t believe how cheap the prices of the drinks were and the atmosphere was one of familiarity.First stepping through the door, I actually thought I’d stepped into someone’s front living room, and everyone looked to the newcomers stepping in. But it wasn’t like when the music stops and the pub goes quiet, it was just a welcoming acknowledgement to see if more friends had walked through the door as this is clearly a place of regulars.All you could ask of an English pub really.”

“Great patio area to eat and drink next to the river with relaxing views. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and regulars too. Near to either the start or end point of a walk to Tattershall Castle, besides River Bain, where you see plenty of wildlife. Expect to see planes flying close overhead from nearby RAF Coningsby.”
