The most friendly and accommodating staff. Went for the carvery and they cooked my vegetarian friend veggy sausages and made alternatives for my friend with allergies. Proper old school carvery. It was lovely!!!
Staying in the area for a couple of nights and was looking for somewhere I could get some food, but was also dog friendly. Lots of phone calls and nothing, then came across this little gem. Phoned prior to visiting. Given the green light for dog friendly, and also willing to make food too (it was an odd time, gone past lunch but not quite dinner). Got there, the owner/s were very welcoming and friendly. Good selection of foods on their menu and I feel was very reasonably priced....read full review

All home made food with a menu that changes. Good variety, kids meals, starters, desserts, all reasonable prices. Very nice owner and staff. Made us feel Welcombe. Nice conservatory to eat in along side the river.
