Booked for 11am for 5 people hour later we recieved our breakfast service really too slow alot missing of our plates can't say it was the best I ve had from this cafe gone down hill ? tbh letting in dogs aswell which I can't understand why you want to take your dog for breakfast ..not a cheap breakfast anymore probably the dearest around at £15 including the coffee...

A favourite spot for brekkie we visit often. The staff are lovely and so personable, and always make you feel very welcome. Menu is varied and great quality produce. Today they hosted our baby group of 10 mums and 10 babies (plus loads of prams!) and we all had a fab time and were well looked after, even after staying for 3 hours! Highly recommend their toasties, full breakfast and berry waffles! Yum!

Great staff, like, really great. Actually seem happy to work there.I tend to ask for things that aren't on the breakfast menu and they have always been very accommodating. Food quality is excellent, especially the sausages and bacon. I wouldn't mind a slight upgrade on the fishfingers to something chunkier, but that's honestly just me searching for a criticism. I go there once a month and like it so much that I go out of my way to get there. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Just had b’fast at the Oaks, omg bloody beautiful, the food was like heaven in my mouth and the service was perfect. Will not disappoint !!! Highly recommend, if you haven’t been it’s a must. Best b’fast in Lincoln for sure!

My daughters and I met at the Oaks for brunch yesterday, this was our first visit.The first plus is that there's plenty of parking, always a bonus! The restaurant decor itself is nice and "earthy", it was clean and well laid out.We were warmly greeted by one of the owners who promptly attended to our needs.The food, coffee and service were all excellent, thank you...? (Oh, and the prices are reasonable ?)

Place is awesome - twinned with the Sycamore on West Parade with a private dining room and cafe. The 2 owners are lovely and have great customer service. Good food, good sounds, friendly staff!!!

Really disappointed wanted to try this place for a while. Came for breakfast, we had booked, on arrival was told our booking hadn't been booked in. It was busy but they did manage to seat us. Coffee order was wrong, then waited over an hr for breakfast which was overcooked & seemed like it had been left under a hot plate for a while. Mushrooms missing of one breakfast too. A very expensive breakfast for what it was, nothing special. On a plus friendly staff who apologised for the wait, seems like the management messed up with bookings and staff on the ground end up taking the rap for it. We wasnt offered any discount / complimentary drinks for the delay which was a shame as this would go along way to keep customers happy when delays happen. All in all enough to put us off returning. Shame.
