First visit to the railway inn and it definitely won't be the last, a very lovely warm welcome by all the staff, a great pint of Bateman's black and the carvery just put the iceing on the cake. Are whole experience was faultless and the locals were very polite and had some great banter with em. Will definitely be back and to sample the menu and highly recommending you to friends and family. Thanks again ??
We had the fish and chips and they were good . Others had other meals which looked home cooked and tasty . The downside is that the restaurant is separate from the pub and you have to fetch your own drinks. The prices were good and the staff friendly .

We had a lovely lunch, one meal was overcooked, my friend received an apology, and our party of six received a complimentary dessert. The staff were excellent and kept us entertained. A food delivery had not arrived, and several items on the dessert menu were unavailable, but we enjoyed alternative choices. The manager came to our table and explained their predicament. Overall, the atmosphere, service, and staff were excellent. I would recommend to others and visit again.
