“We went for dinner this evening and it was just spot on. I had steak, cooked as requested. Chips were tasty. All food was piping hot. Brought out in the time you would expect fresh food to be cooked. Drinks were brought quickly. Everything was reasonably priced. There was an excellent range of desserts. THE STAFF - GORGEOUS in every way. Polite, respectful, funny and still professional. Premises were clean and tidy, well presented. Lovely country pub/restaurant. The bell given to each table for service was such a brilliant idea, but you know us English, we don't like to bother people !!! Haha I enjoyed it so much I have booked for Sunday dinner x”

“Went for Sunday lunch we really enjoyed it a choice of meat's & vegetables yorkshire puds stuffing & gravy. They didn't serve dessert's when we went but were hoping to start doing so. Staff are lovely!”

“Visited this fantastic pub several times in recent years and it has never disappointed. Booked a table a few days ago and asked if my favourite previous meal of beef cheeks was available. Table booking confirmed with a note that they would try to get my favourite meal but it wasn't a 'Specials board' option at that time. Arrived and they'd arranged for that meal. They also catered for our disabled Son by providing a meal that met his needs. Truly went above and beyond to make our visit a special one...in a great atmosphere. Thank you.”
