Visited this fantastic pub several times in recent years and it has never disappointed. Booked a table a few days ago and asked if my favourite previous meal of beef cheeks was available. Table booking confirmed with a note that they would try to get my favourite meal but it wasn't a 'Specials board' option at that time. Arrived and they'd arranged for that meal. Excellent little find, the food was good, the home made things looked nicer, wish I’d of gone for that instead of the burger, will definitely return to try other dishes, service was amazing

As always..packed and I'm glad we booked, although I would say not crowded. The weather allowed us to eat in the garden, which or two dogs (who were very welcome) enjoyed. The Sunday Roast is excellent. Big portions, choices of meat and lots of different vegetables to choose from. Gravy is delicious. Shout out to the chef, who cooks beautifully. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. This will be a 'once a month' at least for us
