Really disappointed, portion sizes were small, both chips and fish were greasy. I requested cod instead of haddock which was fine but batter very thick, wet, soggy and not pleasant, wouldn't be somewhere I'd recommend

Expensive and disgusting food. The fish was mostly batter and tasted watery and greasy. The pie was days old and the top was dry and crispy. The bread bun was one of the cheap ones from co op and the way it was presented was very poor.
A lovely little fish and chip shop, the prices are decent and the service is quick, cod is fried to order and is particularly delicious. A large cod, large chips and beans came to a round £10. Staff are always friendly and up for a chat too. They also accept card unlike a lot of smaller town/village chippies which is a big plus.Parking: Parking is available down the road outside the chip shop, however it can be full due to the roadway also being used by residents for parking as well. There's yellow lines in places too, so you may be strapped to find parking occasionally, this is not something to take away from the shop itself, as its just due to the location.
