We’ve never been disappointed with either the food or the welcoming atmosphere at this café. We called in today needing to eat before a visit to the Kinema and were rewarded with a wonderful liver and bacon, plated up with mash or chips and a further four veg - all freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. So good we’ve booked a Christmas lunch next week!. It may be unprepossessing at first glance but is heartily recommended!

This is an absolute jem of a place. If you are wanting too feel special and a little step back in time, then look no further. You will most definitely not be disappointed. The food is sublime, and the service from the staff is seriously incredible. Their manners and general etiquette are awesome. The whole ethos of the tearooms is a wonderful experience. This is by far one of the best places I have had the privilege of visiting. A massive thank you to all the staff.

Superb, cannot speak highly enough. Best bolognese I’ve had in a long time, and the mushroom ravioli was delicious. Excellent service too, very friendly. Such a nice place, wholeheartedly recommend!

We popped in with our order written down as it was a large order and arranged for collection later in the evening. Food was ready on time, all as ordered and absolutely delicious.
