I only called in to grab a take away whilst driving through town. I was served by nice smiley staff and the coffee was excellent , a nice blend and not too strong .

Love this place. So lovely to sit inside or out in the yard under the canopy of the woods trees. Food is spot on no matter what you ask for and service is

We paid a visit to Archie’s on the Saturday prior to the May Bank Holiday 2023 and were quite surprised at the down to earth prices across their menu be it drinks or snacks. As it was a nice sunny lunchtime we ordered a couple of dinks and snacks. The service was a delight: the tables and chairs there. The snacks arrived about five minutes or so later as they were freshly prepared and best of all, they tasted okay. To sit there munching away - we do synchronised munching, we do - and to hear the drone of propeller powered planes gradually getting nearer overhead, then followed by looking up to see the Lancaster, Hurricane and the Spitfire planes from the nearby Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flying over on their way to a display somewhere was sheer bliss. I am not saying or suggesting you get this sort of ‘flying cabaret’ bypass event every time you visit, but regardless the service and the food and drink at Archie’s was brilliant and the next time we ‘land’ there, we will be going there again. 5 Stars easy

Small Cosy Coffee Shop, lovely staff, yes even Dawn?. Best baps and I love the coffee. Sometimes, they can only accept cash, the machine is as temperamental as Arkwrights till. There is a cashpoint nearby. Dog friendly as well l, and he'll they even put up with me.

Took my daughter for lunch and the sandwiches were huge! Full of chicken and so fresh. Service was speedy and the staff were lovely and friendly. Will be coming again to indulge in the delicious looking cakes - just too full this time!

We wandered in for a coffee as the shop itself looked lovely. However we were met with pretty unfriendly service and the overall atmosphere wasn’t very inviting, which was a shame as we travelled so far to visit. I personally wouldn’t recommend.

We had coffee out the back, quite scruffy, could be made to be really pretty. Missed opportunity. Coffee ok, but wouldn't go out of our way to return
