Looking at these reviews I Honestly can't fathom why anyone would give this place bad rap.My sister and I visited today for the first time for some lunch and we where not disappointed.Lovely food , top service , really clean ,buzzing atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and smashin Tiffin! For £1! Bargain.Above all else they had olives and gerkins!? Which is quite important to me really ?. Will deffo be returning , superb!

I have been buying sandwiches from Alley Cats since they first opened in 1986 and the quality of the food and the customer service has always been fabulous. This is a great family run business and I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommended ..!

12:30 - Peak lunch hour, £6+ for a Tuna & Cheese baked potato with "Salad". Potato was luke warm and chewy, maybe a reheated left over from the day before. Absolutely disgraceful. I will not be returning.
