Ordered from here with my family last night and we all have a new favourite takeaway!
Very accomodating to our requests of changing set meals on the menu, everything was cooked perfect and was delicious! You get lots of food for your money and it didnt cost an arm & a leg!
I had the set vegetarian menu for 1 and changed the massala to the vegetable makhanwalla with cheese and it was so tasty.
I was very happy to see lots of vegetarian & vegan options as I personally often struggle to find varied options but the menu had lots!
My family all loved their options, everyone was trying the different curries and their chicken makhanwalla was a huge hit.
We will definitely be ordering again or visiting in person as it was amazing :)

Im from liverpool but work in birkenhead so im lucky to know this place wow its a jewel of the wirral!! The food is amazing they do chilli mince loaded fries they r the best ever we take our dog for i lovely walk in royden park which is in frankby other side of the wirral but always head here on way home amazing

NOYA Mediterranean Restaurant

Booked in for Valentine's. The food was brilliant you can't fault it at all . But what let them down was the service ? . Loads of team but no one leading at the front . Took 30 mins for mains to come out and then we had table mostly cleared when we had finished but after 40 mins waiting for dessert we had to leave as we had some where else to be . Whole one course we were there for 2 hours and had to give up on the dessert. We even had to ask for more drinks as no one was checking tables and checking if everything was ok. The restaurant was clean and the staff where pleasure to us just no one leading from the front even though it was a very busy evening.
Oh yes we will go back on another day / night as the food was fantastic.

Anchor Inn Wirral

Food was really nice (apart from the chips part of the fish and chips). The pork duo dish was particularly good.

They accommodated our request to sit in a quieter spot of the restaurant. Staff very nice.

Just took a little while for the food to come - but it was Saturday evening before Mother’s Day, so it was busy-ish.

Arrowe Park

Yesterday i payed an enjoyable visit to the lovely Arrowe Park Pub. The food was cooked spectacularly, the service was flawless by the lovely staff and the atmosphere was magnificent! I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone who needs a tasty meal!

Wimpy

What a warm welcome I've been meaning to visit Wimpy but finding one is so hard. I was in Birkenhead today so could resist a visit to see if it was how I remembered.

I was greeted by a proper gentleman who went over the options on the menu but I already knew I wanted the 1/4 pounder with cheese salad onions and wimpy sauce ona white bun with a strawberry thick shake topped with whipped cream.

I wasn't disappointed burger was juicy salad crisp bun fresh, milk shake cold thick creamy and delicious.

Keep up the good work and people of Birkenhead take the kids and the grandkids keep this traditional milk bar going you've got something very special

Nice place. I was looking for some decent, not fast, food and noticed this little cafe/restaurant. Its nice inside and you can see into the kitchen.
Theres plenty of choice on the menu and the accompanying drinks menu with a wide selection of drinks.
Staff were ruthlessly efficient and produced my meal in just a few minutes.
It was very nice with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of spice for my pallet, I did specify how hot I liked and they got it just right.
It was a nice atmosphere and I really enjoyed my visit.

Sports is the best pub on the Wirral by a mile service is brill staff very friendly Karen best boss they’ve had for years best barmaid is hard to pick but go for

Third time we have been here for breakfast. Very clean cafe, staff are friendly and helpful. The food was very good too. Had the small breakfast and that was plenty. Can recommend this place.

The Merebrook

We were a group of 16, Tuesday walkers we didn’t book our tables and we were pleasantly surprised, the service the food the atmosphere was so nice

Popped in for a quick bite between house viewings. Good choice of authentic Italian food, and small plates. Great service and thank you Jordan for the quick and friendly service.

Farmers Arms

Friendly workers, plenty of sport on TV, but most importantly, there's plenty of options on the menu, but happened in the last 3 years with the menu, how come you lowered the options on the classics.

Just ordered from here tonight and I can honestly say it's up there with the best Currys takeaway in Birkenhead we really enjoyed it there was a nuff to feed 3 people the meat just melts the chips where nice big thick ones too instead of them skinny one I will go back and order again

Chickn Hut Birkenhead

I've never had a bad meal, been ordering regularly from here and it's always what I order still fresh and hot after delivery, exactly what you would want. If you like red salt on your chips aswell you couldn't do better.

Cafe 39 Wirral

Spot on cafe tucked away in Tranmere. Would defo recommend, food was amazing, service very good very polite staff and a lot of food for the price, my breakfast was the Large (see pic) and I struggled to finish it, my partner had the vegetarian breakfast and she didn’t manage to finish it. Will be going there again, clean and tidy.

Zeera Tandoori

I've been a regular customer at Zeera's in Irby for years, enjoying both dine-in meals and takeaways, and they have never once disappointed. The food is consistently amazing, and the staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive. It's rare to find a restaurant that maintains such high standards over the long term. Zeera's is a true gem, and I can't recommend it enough.

That was beautiful food. I had The Oriental Box with Katsu curry Bao bun. The bao bun was one of the nicest things I have ever eaten. As good as Paris or London.

I had my gender reveal here on sunday and nothing was to much trouble for Jess she went above and beyond to make sure myself, my husband and our kids had the best time I have recieved so much positive feedback from guests and theres no were else I would rather host future events. Small family meal to celibrate my nephews 18th birthday. from start to finish, the staff were freindly and chearful. The food was well presented, served hot, and tasted delicious, with minimal waiting time. 5☆

The Mersey Clipper

So i was down at Prenton Park to watch my beloved Football team Oldham Athletic play Tranmere Rovers in League 2.

So it was my First time drinking in the Mersey Clipper in the shadow of Prenton Park after we had beaten Tranmere 3-1 and i was gasping for a pint and a shot of Tequila(Latics fans will get this).

Fantastic pub full of locals, Tranmere and Oldham fans, Polite and friendly staff, The bar is huge inside with car park to the rear, There are a few tables out the back for the smokers and to sit out when the weather is nice out, Fantastic range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including Zero % alcohol drinks, Pub/bar was spotlessly clean.

Bromborough

We stayed at Village Hotel at the Wirral August Bank Holiday 23. We received great service in Housekeeping especially from “Hakam - H” … reported broken iron board and needed fresh towels and within 10 minutes everything sorted lovely. We only had breakfast on the Sunday but member of staff Jackie was very welcoming great smile lots of banter and so happy. The restaurant was very busy but still made sure everybody was ok and always a lovely smile. Early departure Bank Holiday Monday and before we left we went into restaurant where breakfast is served to say goodbye. Once again can’t fault her lovely character, happy and smiling. More staff like this are needed and the Village won’t to thank them for being such great members of the Team …

Railway

Food is pub grub but was decent,although prices are quite high for what it is,since the refurb.Not the staffs fault but worth noting.
Service was fine efficient, and always always pleasant
Could do with less noise and certainly less children in what used to be the adult/ bar area.A quiet dine and drink child free for us is not this, we only come now if taking our children.Dont want to listen to everyone else's domestic arrangements and whiny kids.Sorry folks, child free area would be appreciated ?

The Wirral Tandoori

Amazing curry house, can’t believe it’s not rated more highly. All the food was amazing but the Salmon Bhuna in particular was really outstanding and something I hadn’t seen on a menu anywhere else. Some of the best garlic naan I have ever had as well. Prices were really reasonable as well.

Lovely hot tasty food and excellent customer service received the wrong toppings on a pizza last night and they came with another pizza very fast and I ordered it quite late so thanks for the great service keep it up guys ????

Tiny pub with a bit of an Irish theme. Is what I call a right old man's pub ? This is a place where people come for a drink, not to pose. Lots of regulars, so there's a nice atmosphere.

The Sea Dog

I play for the sea dog ladies darts team. We have a large room with no TV or snooker table in it... The service at the bar is top notch. What's not to like.

I have gone to Captain Tony’s, regularly for years. Their pizza is my favourite by far.
Massive problem is their fries. They are very inconsistent in quality. Sometimes they are exceptional, but other times they are awful.
I ask now for them to make them crispy, but the last 3 times I’ve ordered them, I’ve had to throw them in the bin. They were disgusting. Sloppy and undercooked. Does your chips chef not try their food before giving it to us paying customers?
I hate to do awful reviews, especially when I love their pizza, but the fries are just as important and at over £3 a portion, I’m fed up, even asking hasn’t improved their quality. How can you get it so wrong??

Had a sweet chilli based meat feast I went in and asked as a family member said how nice it was the staff were very polite and made me the pizza 5 stars from me it was so cheesy all the family enjoyed it I will return.

Came from North wales, on recommendation.Great breakfast. Relatively quiet restaurant. Order took quite long time at nearly 50 mins.Well worth a look at though.!!??

We came here as a group of 13 and had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service from the staff was excellent. We’d be happy to come back again!

King Wah Restaurant

Absolutely lovely meal.

We shared a few starters and a main meal and it was great. The portions were really big, the quality was amazing. It was very early and at first we were the only ones, but it soon filled up. We will definitely be going back.

Me and my partner came by for coffees after a lovely day shopping and was served by a super lovely woman called Cody, her customer service skills were 10/10 super polite chatty and cheerful and checked in with us that everything was ok, an absolute asset to your company

Ruhi Balti House

The food served was absolutely stunning, from the starters to the main course. Amazing. The service is excellent. All the staff are really friendly. The restaurant is nice and clean. The toilets are spotless. Really nice and enjoyable place to eat. Once we paid we got some free chocolates and a free shot of baileys each. Highly recommend.

Golden Park Chinese Restaurant

Such good value for money left with full and satisfied bellies! We were served by a lovely girl called Amy - she was so cheerful and really lifted our spirits in the new year! 10/10 recommendation.

Papa Pizza

I always go here. Staff are always friendly, all the food is good and they’re open late. Papa Pizza is the only thing holding birko together at this point, they are heroes.

Subway

Some love working in Hospitality others don't, seems that way here. A means to an end. More smiles & enthusiasm needed. Delicious as always as made as you like but floor seating needs a good overhaul, replaced, sanitised & cleaned regularly & properly. A popular busy place so why is there no investment to pretty it up & have someone bus the tables, toilets & floor throughout service ? This site could be so much more..American subways are impeccable in service & seating their customers.

McDonald's

Love going with my kids and i dont mind the wait but the language on the staff is very very rude even though its not to me and they are talking to other staff they shouldn't be using language like that around multiple children especially shouting it

Gallaghers Traditional Pub

Decent pub close to Hamilton square station.
Good choice of drinks including alcohol free options.
Does some food although not tried it myself.

Old building,id expect could tell a tale or two on old times in that old port.
Didnt see any wheelchair access myself,steps at front are steep.Great selection of beers,locals good to chat with,an issue occured with the sound,so was unable to stay to see the whole gig.

Got some chips because I was hungry and I had nothing in. The chips are so good, the service time is amazing (only took 5 minutes) I highly reconmend coming here instead of other boring chippies.

Am an away fan (Gills) and having a great weekend here. Staff, locals amd Tranmere fans friendly, games on TV and a good selection of beer. Not been to any other pubs this weekend as happy here!

always been a picky eater not liked curry or anything but this place made me fall in love with curry sauce. so good and so filling just a small portion of chips and gravy does well.
food served quickly everytime other than days when the pub across the street , The Royal, is busy since people usually leave their and pick up food on the way out (but thats not very often its otherwise very speedy)

Nightingales Recovery Café

Phenomenal Salt and Pepper Chicken when John cooks - got a way with the wok. Decent grub for cheaper than chips and just as excellent. Lovely evening finished with a lovely meal!

The Waterloo Pub

Few pubs have survived the wholesale ransacking of Birkenhead but this little beauty of a pub has managed it. Whenever I crave a good pint of Guinness I make a beeline for this backstreet gem. There are very few establishments that can offer comfort, kindness and good cheer as well as a Guinness and a double Tullamore Dew for less than £8! The River View Pub

Had a very warm welcome on 2 evenings. Came to the North West to celebrate birthday with friends. Arrived to find a quiz & bingo night. Was welcomed to join and then return for the karaoke the following night. Very friendly staff fun was had by all.

Alleycats

Had lunch here today for the 1st time, I chose the tiger club, chips and a Brownie and enjoyed every part. The brownie was the best I've ever had!
The whole team who I interacted with were very friendly too!
I'll definitely be a regular now especially living so close by.

Had a FEB, it was simply delicious and by far the best FEB, I’ve ever eaten. I will be going back for more. Can’t recommend the place highly enough. SIMPLY, THE BEST!

Reading a negative review below from Ian makes me curious to whether he is happy in life and just simply posting to spread his negativity... or whether he went to the cafe next door by mistake!

I've used this cafe regularly for the last 3 years for the following reasons:

Home made Jumbo size sausage rolls ranging from plain to salt and pepper to even christmas specials!

The meat they use isn't processed and actually fresh (the only one round here I've found that uses quality meat)

The roasts are so popular you have to order well in advance and most days there are people queueing outside.

Breakfasts are 10/10 and you can even choose what type of bread/bap you want.

I just bought a Mini fish dinner, I have never been able to eat all of my meals but I did with this one, it was gorgeous, fish cooked really nice, mushy peas tasted gorgeous and the chips (my hardest normally to finish) were absolutely lovely too with added crispy ones my fave! Definitely go back.

Tasty Bites - Breakfast

Only small,but meals are lovely,always cooked well,decent portions and big mug of tea or coffee,very reasonable prices and the ladies behind counter friendly and helpful.

Firemans Arms

A group of us come here once a month for a night out as we love the vicar who djs, always plays great tunes and there's always a good atmosphere! Bar staff are really friendly and the drinks are super cheap (pound shots and 4.50 doubles!) Only thing is its cash only, the nearest cash machine is only a few minutes walk away so not much of an issue but just to be aware if thinking of visiting.

Samuels Cafe

Really enjoy the service at Samuel’s (not just because the name). Staff are friendly and show interest in you as a person, the prices are very reasonable compared to some of the cafes in the area and they are open Sundays!

Harbour Lights Cafe

Great cafe great food yes they warm beans & Tom's in microwave what's the problem in this ? At least there not stood in a pan.. its a clean cafe. But very small. Made to feel welcome even if your taking out.. Personally I think the food is lovely. I've never had a bad breakfast... !!!!

It's a shame, big traditional pub with great space two pool tables in there own areaGreat prices, not sure if they do food but with great traditional furniture it should be better supported. I liked it.

Luckily, I have never needed their charity, my daughter was a soldier int 80's. I find their attitude to people in need to be of the utmost priority.absolutely beautiful people. Will always try to donate when I can as I am only on a state pension.stay safe..bless you..Mrs Wilson

Went for a carvery today because I fancied one as I don’t come here very often and it was an amazing experience. Our server was ebony and she was so friendly and helpful. Our carver was Sam and did good portions and the meat and veg were so nice.
