Opening time is supposed to be 6am, this morning there were a dozen or so customers still waiting at nearly 6.15. One actually went round to the van loading bay & had to ask somebody there to get the doors unlocked!! This happens too often at this store, very poor

Always items missing or removed from order. Avoid ordering here.

Recently moved to the area from L8. Smithdown road is an excellent Asda, choice, stock, staff, cleanliness. Sadly Bromborough is the complete opposite. Poor choice, terrible stock, staff at the self checkout gather at one end chatting, meaning you have to go and ask them for assistance, the place isn't particularly dirty but there's always boxes and cartons blocking the aisles. And god forbid you want to use a basket because there's rarely any by the entrance. I'm off to Morrisons to see if that's any better.

We had excellent service today from Alan who gave all his experience to correct a mobile phone problem. He went beyond the call of duty as a manager and showed that in this day and age customer service really does matter.Thank you Alan??

Waited 3 hours from this store for a delivery, no show. Finally spoke to the Delivery Manager who assured me he would get my delivery sorted, and call me back to advise roughly what time...he not only failed to call me he also didn't get a delivery sorted!Customers are hard to come by these days in retail,no wonder when this is the abhorrent level of service received. The only decent experience was the Security guy who very kindly when I called put me through to the delivery manager

This store is a joke. At just after 9am today ( 6th November ) there was just one checkout open and a fairly large queue for the self checkout. Plenty of staff wearing yellow jackets with happy to help printed on but none of them actually being helpful and opening more checkouts. I would give this store zero stars if I could.

Very poor availability of stock most of the time. This store have have also get rid of their customer service desk! This clearly sends a very clear description on the stores values! I hardly ever get any help finding things when I ask the staff. For example the other day I asked for Coconut Milk and they took me to the dairy aisle!!

Car park during peak hours is inescapable. People leave their cars and pick them up later it's so bad getting out.

A really good store, great selection of items from groceries to household items, good prices too.

Used to love this store & the choice available. Not any more I'm afraid. Why was it necessary to get rid of the windows by the checkouts? It feels claustrophobic & dark in there now. I detest the self service tills & I'm not alone. They cause nothing but bother & are just another way of getting rid of staff & making more money for the store. It's pure greed! Staff are not very friendly or helpful & you feel monitored at every turn with the intrusive cameras, especially on those awful self service tills. It is not a relaxing experience at all & I prefer Aldi these days. It's cheaper & more efficient.
