We stayed at Village Hotel at the Wirral August Bank Holiday 23. We received great service in Housekeeping especially from “Hakam - H” … reported broken iron board and needed fresh towels and within 10 minutes everything sorted lovely. We only had breakfast on the Sunday but member of staff Jackie was very welcoming great smile lots of banter and so happy. The restaurant was very busy but still made sure everybody was ok and always a lovely smile. Early departure Bank Holiday Monday and before we left we went into restaurant where breakfast is served to say goodbye. Once again can’t fault her lovely character, happy and smiling. More staff like this are needed and the Village won’t to thank them for being such great members of the Team …

This is a great hotel. We stay roughly once a month when we visit family and we cannot fault it. the hotel is lovely, the rooms are great. Being able to use the spa facilities is a real luxury. The bar area is nice and the food is really good. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Had a wonderful time at the Village. Easy to find. Our room was on second floor clean and comfortable. Plenty of toiletries. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well cooked and presented. Best steak I had for a long time. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips, particularly liked the special pint and a half glasses. Nothing was too much trouble from the staff from the front desk to waitress. Pool people first time to liverpool. Thank You ☺️

Great hotel. Staff are always really helpful and friendly. The bar and food are excellent and the service is very good. We have family in the Wirral and we always stay at this hotel when we come up for a visit.

Absolutely great customer experience from start to finish. Easy check in, polite and friendly staff. The room was spotless and one of the most comfortable hotel sleeps we've had. The pool and spa were excellent and although we ate out this time, in the past, we have eaten in and the food has been great. We visit every 2 months for a sports club activity close buy in Port Sunlight and other members of the club have started to stay at the Village due to the excellent location and facilities.

We have stayed many times at the Village Hotel Wirral/Bromborough from before during and after lockdown. Always had a great stay, close enough to where we needed to be but far enough away! But this last time, 11 days in Sept 2023, they were a godsend, as we used the hotel as bolt hole from the local hospital where a family member had been taken and was in intensive care. The regular front desk chap, Lewis spotted something was up and asked if I was okay and coped admirably when I cracked and could't speak. He made sure we were in a quiet room, and together with Nikki, made sure each time they saw me or the other family members that we were doing okay, did we need anything, etc. To Wayne Evans, the GM, your FOH staff did you proud, and Chris Willingham your F&B breakfast and bar staff looked after us and made us smile when we really didn't feel like it. Thank you for making an awful set of days a lot more bearable.

Had a lovely two night stay here, all staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a good atmosphere in the pub/grill, and our evening meal was nice. Breakfast staff were cheery and the poached eggs cooked to order were great. Club Room was nice and quiet, lovely toiletries and we made use of the air con on an unusually hot September weekend. The room had everything we needed - iron, hairdryer etc, and was very clean. A big plus point to the hotel is location - a fifteen minute walk to the lovely village of Port Sunlight, and from there just 15-20 minutes on the train into Liverpool. Chester can easily be reached in the opposite direction. Would certainly visit again!

We traded in a buyagift voucher for a vineyard visit for a weekend break at the hotel. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were helpful and friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere to the place. Food was good for dinner and breakfast. The pub and grill had a lot of large HD televisions throughout and an especially large TV with comfortable couches and chairs, just like some deluxe cinemas. When we arrived home, we decided to book a further weekend in November but this time we will take our swimming costumes and sample the pool.

I work in Birkenhead a few times and year usually around ten days at a time I love to stay in the village but every visit is the same everything is great then the breakfast let's it down one cheff seems to be concerned about using too much gas today the bacon and sausages were almost raw the scrambled egg is not great, other than this everything is great well done to the team ?

Came to the hotel with work. Used the Starbucks and was served by a chap called Noel Very friendly staff and helpful, didnt know what I fancied to drink and gave me a few suggestions. Great coffee and was definitely needed for the workday. 10 out of 10.

We had an overnight stay so we were close to a family celebration. We actually got the train into Liverpool for the evening. It was much cheaper than staying in Liverpool and the room was much larger than we expected so we had lots of room. Comfortable bed and good shower/bathroom. We would stay there again.

Noel and the rest of the Starbucks team are very friendly and make you feel welcome! Food and coffee is always great, the only complaint I would have would be in the gym facility as the staff there are often unfriendly/uninterested and there never seems to be anyone in the actual gym area to help when you don’t know how a machine works or where a weight is, I think having some team members be more present would be a big help and would improve the overall experience when you visit the gym

I dropped by at the Starbucks recently for something to eat and drink. I had some work to do too and needed help getting on the WiFi. The guy behind the counter - I think his name was Noel, couldn't have been more helpful. The drinks were really good and the place was clean. The service was great and I was so grateful to Noel for helping me out and also checking in afterwards to make sure everything was going OK!

Comfy bed, not the cleanest but the hotel was very nice! Great gym and pool. Lovely food and super friendly staff. Particularly in the Starbucks and the restaurant. Even though I was working away I came home feeling very relaxed from staying in such a nice hotel.
