Waited for around 10 minutes for a coffee and around twenty minutes for a sandwich and when we flagged it up were told ‘we’re full.’ I asked for a complimentary coffee when the sandwich was served because we wanted a drink with our meal. This was greeted with a slap down of spoons and cutlery. The sandwich was very good but really not worth the wait. Maybe it would help to advise customers of the waiting time.

Great breakfast - I had garlic mushrooms on sourdough and my mum had the breakfast omelette. Both delicious and very filling. Staff are all really friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced as well. Thank you. I’ve also been for the tapas night before and again, it was fab. Too much choice on the menu!

Member of staff sat outside and allowed a dog to sit on her knee and kissed the animal. She proceeded to go back inside and serve. Disgusting.

Food was absolutely amazing, staff very friendly and welcoming. Great that we could bring the dogs in and would definitely come back if I was in Formby again.

The best pies and pasties in the county, honest as well. I left my wallet in the Formby shop, they gave it back to me the next day intact, truly wonderful.

Fabulous tapas on a Friday night. Beautifully cooked and brilliant value for money. Absolutely no complaints. Probably the best tapas I’ve had!

If I'd ever visited Formby again, this would be my go-back-to place. Such a lovely athmosphere, friendly staff, great variety of options in both Breakfast and Lunch menu. Food arrived shortly after we ordered, we were informed of how long it would roughly take, which you don't get in many cafes/ restaurants. We had our dog with us and struggled for a while finding a place where we could sit outside and have dinner and I'm glad we struggled as we wouldn't have found this gem of a place otherwise. Unexpectedly brilliant! Tables, kitchen and toilet clean to perfection, you can definitely see that staff and owners care about the service they provide. Thank you.

Had breakfast here this morning. Lovely coffee and food - and dog friendly too! Bella was treated with a sausage cut up for her and was generally very well welcomed. Will definitely be back again! Big thanks to the team there!

We go here quite often for the delicious scouse. It really is the best we've ever tasted. We try and make a reservation for a booth as it's only a small cafe but well worth a visit. Their cakes and pasties are also extremely good,

Staff were nice, helpful and very friendly. Tables were clean before we sat down. Priced in line with what the market will stand.Service was slow (Twixmas visit around 12:30), but the food was nice when it arrived. Worth a second visit.

Very very nice cakes. The Bavarian custard tart is to die for. Great coffee, friendly staff and dog friendly.

Fantastic. The sausage rolls and pork pies are the best for many many miles, unless you go to the bake house in Crosby. Wonderful service, food is utterly excellent.
