“Went for a family birthday, although there were about 20 of us ordering a variety of dishes, everything came out together and there was not one person who did not enjoy the meal.The service was amazing and the menu choices were really good. Would definitely recommend.”

“Great local pub. Does not open until 3pm which is sensible in this current cost of living crisis. Really lovely decor and cosy atmosphere. Good selection of cask ale. Clean trade area and loos were clean too.”

“You can park by the pub restaurant. We were a party of four and had a voucher for 20% off the food. The wine was expensive however. The service was good on this Thursday night. My wife was gluten free and ordered John Dory which was supposed to have a lime sauce. However we weren't convinced that there was any lime on the fish. Though the fish was excellent and tasty. We had a camembert starter and got a whole heated camembert which was more than enough for two. I enjoyed the chicken wings with soy sauce and sesame seeds with salad. The fish pie was quite good as well.”

“Enjoy the Quiz on a Sunday evening! :) Good choice of drinks and friendly, polite staff.Only eaten there once and it was nice. Can get a bit rowdy, noisy, intimidating and busy when the Sports are on, so I just avoid those times!”

“Front of house guy is spot on. Found us a table although we hadn't booked. Restaurant is gorgeous, Sunday roast waS fab, a good portion, beautifully cooked. Will definitely return. Staff really lovely.”
