We've been here many times before for the regular weekday menu, Fancied a roast dinner and decided to give Bistro Noir a try. I'm a roast dinner snob as I reckon I do a good one, but this was definitely the best I've had in a long time. Service great as always, starter and main delicious, and just a nice atmosphere. Price is fantastic, I'd happily pay more
Popped in for first time after farmers Saturday market. We had hot chocolate, tasty but not hot, just warm. Nice & cosy inside. Seen board outside advertising Sunday roast, 2 course £17.50 we will try it in future. The owners little dog was tethered to coat stand as we went in, seemed a tad agitated, just wanted a bit of attention. The owner took it out about 15 mins after we arrived, I don't think a busy cafe is place for a little dog right next to door.

We went on a Sunday and had the roast dinner which was absolutely gorgeous.. proper roasties to rival your Nan's.Haven't been here for years though and we did expect more French dishes on the menu.
