Absolutely gorgeous! The food was amazing… I had the jerk chicken breast, my other half had the jerk pork belly… they were both DELICIOUS! We both had the plantain for dessert which was so so tasty! The drinks are unreal and our waiter, Ewan, was so so friendly and recommended drinks from the “secret menu”. Already can’t wait to come again!!!! xx ps the Tequila Rose shots are MASSIVE!!!!!!!!

We love this place. Liverpool should be proud of Wreckfish. There’s an honesty to the place. Watching the activity in the kitchen reveals how hard everyone is working. The food was excellent and is AMAZINGLY Good Value. Ate there with some colleagues and we all enjoyed it so much - gave us all a lift in a dreary January. Left feeling good about the world.

We had a last minute walk in on Saturday for 5 adults and 2 kids..the staff were friendly and helpful and got us seated quickly! The cocktails were fantastic and the food was hot and tasty! There was a lovely ambience in the venue and I got chatting to the owner who was very humble and down to earth! Would recommend to anyone wanting to try a restaurant unique to Liverpool!

Great experience and great location next to St John's mall, St George's Hall, and Lime Street train station.We had a garlic bread sharer and pizzas (one "Genovese," one "Calabrese", and one "Loaded Peperoni").Everything was delicious. The dough texture and taste were stunning pleasures for the palates.The service was excellent.Yes, it's definitely a 5 star.

The Pho bowl I enjoyed was like pouring orange juice and zest down my throat whilst my taste buds experienced an umami soup bowl, such was the level of rejuvenation and freshness of my Super Green Pho.This place surely creates the best broth and uses lime and Thai basil unsparingly to manifest the physiological sensation described above.The service was a little slow and the atmosphere peaceful, which may be explained by my midweek lunchtime stop. I recommend!

Furusato Bar & Grill

I cannot fault Furasato after our midweek visit. The food was excellent, the portions weren't small either and we all enjoyed starters and mains, but sadly had no room for puddings!The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was attentive.We had the many reviews and been tempted to try this place. We will definitely be back.

Roxy Ball Room Liverpool Cavern Quarter

Came in to play shuffleboard, we'd never played it before so were a bit confused. Luckily there was a girl, think her name was Sophia, working who was really lovely and explained the game to us. Really good atmosphere aswell.

Had the fixed price lunch menu at £48. Includes a glass of prosecco, 3 courses with good choices, plus a few extras.All very good with excellent and friendly service. It's a bargain.Can't believe a the times I've eaten in Liverpool over the years and haven’t eaten here until now. My new favourite

WOW, this food is incredible. I’ve lived in Thailand, Malaysia, and travelled Australia and Europe and this is by far the most delicious Indian food I’ve ever tasted.All incredibly fresh, hot, and packed with flavour.Cannot recommend this place enough, you MUST come here. Friendly, welcoming staff that squeezed us in even though they were expecting a large group.The food was lovely. We shared a meze which was great but impacted our main meal as it was so large. Mains are tasty and come with rice, chips and salad. We shared a bottle of wine. The bill was very reasonable.It's a pretty restaurant with warm tones and lots of little lights.Definitely worth a visit if you like good food in relaxed surroundings.

We were recommended to go here by some "foodie" friends, and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the cauliflower bhaji and falafel sharer (which is enough for 2 on its own). We ordered too much food (3 meze and 2 veg) and couldn't finish chickpea dish. Wine selection also great with all available by the glass, can recommend the Lebanese rose. We're veggie so was brilliant for us and also they have a full vegan menu.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian choice and separate vegan menu

Alcotraz Liverpool: Cell Block Three-Six

Visited Alcotraz on 31.03.24 as part of a hen weekend and it was so much fun! We did book a long time in advance (booked in September for March) but since visiting, I can completely understand why time slots fill up quickly! Even before arriving to Alcotraz, their communication was fantastic - booking confirmations were sent quickly, tickets were easy to find and they were so accommodating when needing to amend my booking. From the minute we arrived, everything was professional, organised and fitted the fun spin on Alcotraz. We were talked through some general housekeeping rules and then how things would work inside the ‘prison’ and nothing disappointed! The actors were beyond brilliant - so professional, incredibly funny and allowed you to get involved in the fun as much or as little as you wanted - everything was on your terms. Each cell were asked if they wanted to be sent on their own mini missions so we could each be a part of the storyline - this made the experience for us! And the drinks service was also fantastic, within a minute of being in the cell we were greeted by the girl who would be making our cocktails that day and she asked if there were any allergies, dietary requirements or flavours we didn’t like so she could tailor our drinks especially for us. She was brilliant - all drinks tasted amazing and the 4 rounds of cocktails were well spread across our time in Alcotraz. Shout out again to the actors on that day (Willy, Gilly, Cassidy and of course the Warden!) they were kind enough to have a quick selfie with us at the end of our timeslot - all while staying in character! An absolute 11/10 experience and I’d recommend it to anyone!

My experience at the Puffin Rooms was exceptional. The service was beyond excellent, my favourite staff being Emily. She went above and beyond to help us and made us feel so welcome. I would return solely just to experience the service provided by her and the others! Joe was also a special touch, he reminded me of Austin powers! GROOVY BABY! I will return

First time here certainly won't be the last the food was absolutely beautiful steak cooked 2 perfection came with rocket an parmasan cheese 2 things I wudnt normally eat but omg was delicious the fries where hot an crispy overall if I cud give each category more than 5 stars I would will most certainly be visiting again very very soon staff where lovely and helpful the dining area spotless. Always like to visit this restaurant. Food is great. A good selection. Really friendly service. Nothing is too much trouble. My sister and I came for breakfast at 11am. We were served by very polite and friendly staff. We both had a traditional breakfast, one meat and one veggie, both were delicious, I would highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be back.

All Bar One Liverpool

We visited the restaurant as a group of three and were seated at our booked table straight away. After waiting for 10 mins, and no staff had come over, we went to the bar to see if we could order food. You order at the bar at this restaurant ,but nobody had told us.All the dishes were great and arrived in good time and the Merlot was good too.It’s a bit of a drop and go style of service and there is very little interaction between the serving staff and you as a customer which is a bit odd. We still enjoyed our meal and would definitely visit again.

Malmaison Liverpool

Stayed here for two nights which was really good value with the 25% off offer before end of March. Lovely room with fantastic view, very spacious, clean, huge bath tub. Breakfast options were good, staff very attentive and provided additional dairy free options for me - would love to have had an option for a vegan version of the veggie breakfast, and quite limited vegan options for dinner but otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Camp and Furnace

This is an ex warehouse where they have live entertainment. It has kept the warehouse feel but is good for a night out. Ticket prices vary depending on if you book or pay on the door. Drinks were a bit pricey but it's one of those places where there isn't any choice. They do food but I didn't try on this occasion. There isn't much seating and what there is , is picnic bench style, so if you do want to sit down I'd advise getting there early.

I visited the shop about a fortnight ago and was surprised at how quiet it was at the time, especially after consuming such a delicious drink. I was however, dissatisfied at the quality of customer service. The level of unprofessionalism was quite shocking when I noticed 2 female staff members seemingly sitting on each other and giggling in the office, all while I was waiting to order. Despite this, I was eventually served by another staff member who was polite and prompt. I still enjoyed my experience and the drink but I will not be in a rush back.

The Exchange Restaurant

Dined here mid week as a couple having swapped an Activity Superstore voucher for this experience. It was for steak and wine for 2. The meal was lovely and we added starters and a dessert which were also high quality. Service was excellent. The wine was good considering the voucher is for house red. My only issue is that I think a sauce could be included rather than having to pay extra. Very nice place to sit and I would recommend this experience.

I just wanted to say this is the best local service station I have been to around the Hunts Cross & Woolton Area.I always go here every couple mornings on my commute to work to get a drink or get some fuel.There is one worker called Sarah who is the loveliest attendant behind the desk. She always asks how I am and how my day is going! Great customer service. Please pass my message on to her.Easy to access in and out of the garage.Only problem is the air and screen wash pump area is a little cramped if you have a big car. Fortunately I drive a little KIA so no problem!Fuel is reasonably priced too!

Typical shell station, petrol and diesel are more expensive then the competition which is usual, inside is small with amenities and snacks and also has a Costa Express machine. You can also pump up tyres here.

Small one but easy to go get some diesel if living in tuebrook. The air is £1 for 7 mins of use, so i go there to pump my tyres as well. Only downside is you can’t pay at pumps, you would have to go inside the store to pay but they do accept cards and cash so not that big of a deal. Haven’t had any problems going there and being like out of fuel like many other places are so it is a good place if you live nearby

The Bastion Restaurant

Three of us ate here on a Sunday evening. We had booked and when we arrived two tables were paying at the restaurant reception. We had to wait several minutes before being shown to our table. Other than that the service was good, as was the food. We booked because our aparthotel gave us a voucher for 50% off food at the Bastion , so our £120 bill (incl drinks) was reduced to £80. Excellent value.

Absolutely huge pub in Lark Lane. Victorian interior but has been well maintained. Has a good range of beers and real ales. Has lovely comfy armchairs in the lounge.

Always spot on! Definitely the best around for desserts. Only ever ordered food a few times but that was just as nice as the desserts. Always hot and fresh and delivery time and service is exceptional.

Bakchich Lebanese Restaurant

First time I've been here after meaning to come for a long time!! A friend and myself ordered a mixed shawarma platter, halloumi and a coke each, the bill came to just over £50 and for the size of the meal you can not argue. The halloumi was cut in to nice sized fingers and on a bed of salad. The mixed platter was served with chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma chips, rice and bread. The taste and quality of the food was great. The staff were friendly and the area was clean.

Sultan's Palace

An Indian of remarkable quality! All dishes are extremely tasty, with perfect spice dosages.The tandoori mix starters give a perfect overview of their mastery of meat and cooking. The butter chicken is also excellent and the pulao rice is one of the best I have tasted so far, once again the dosage of spices is managed to perfection.Thanks to Sneha for her very good advice.

The pizza is simply amazing, nice minimalist decor (oilcloth on the tables, but it doesn't bother me at all), fast service. It was worth waiting in line for just over an hour to enter the place. I recommend!

Absolutely loved this. Beautiful little clever business. Totally wish the owner every success with this. Service was efficient and lovely. Staff were pleasant and polite. Drinks and food fair priced. A fantastic meal at a reasonable price served by very friendly and attentive staff. I had all three of the daily specials and a Japanese panna cotta with fresh fruit topping for desert. This was the first time I had ever had a Japanese curry (beef) and it was delicious, as were all the other courses and the warm green tea. Given the quality of the food and the very comfortable surroundings, the bill of £44 before tips seemed very reasonable indeed. The next time I am in Liverpool I will certainly be returning. In fact, I might even make a special outing from Manchester when I am next there in May.

Great food and all the staff were really lovely! We sat and waited 5mins for some more beef to be ready, which was no problem at all. Because of this Liam kindly gave us a 10% discount☺️ I’ll deffo come back the next time I visit

Very friendly pub with nice music, with mainly retired regulars. One unique point about the place is that its bar is about a foot short at the top end than the bottom end because of the slope of the floor inside.

Great intimate venue, useful balcony view for late arrivals and those not wanting to get in the thick of it. A couple of support pillars do block views so be careful where you position yourself

The Beehive

This is another old Tetley pub that I used to frequent many years ago. We used to go here before we went to the cinema, it was near three cinemas but they have all been demolished now. This pub has not changed a bit, it doesn't need to. It's always been service with a smile and a pint on the bar at a very reasonable price.

1st time in Liverpool, visited this bar because it is mentioned in one of my favourite songs- The Ballad of North John Street by Ian prowse. I can't rate this place highly enough!! A Small Fish in a Big Pond Ltd

What a hidden gem! ? The lady who served us (presumably the owner) was friendly and very accommodating. The hot chocolates were delicious and warmed us up before we continued our Liverpool day out. Would certainly recommend and visit again if we are in the area in the future.

Bao and Bap is always my to-go restaurant when thinking of Asian food. I always come here after work for good food with my colleagues. I recommend salt and pepper crispy tofu for starters. The tofu is perfectly fried with salt and pepper as a seasoning, nothing to say much, it’s just perfect on its own. For the main, I always go for Beef brisket (spicy) noodle, always go for hand-made noodle. The beef is so tender, no need to chew ?. The soup is yummy, it’s just about right for me and not too spicy nor salty. Another main to recommend is Spicy pork rib with rice; the rib is so tender and their sauce is so good. When you eat with rice, it’s just perfect. Recommended ?

Lovely student pub 5 minute walk from campus. Staff are lovely and attentive.Drinks and reasonably priced and there’s games and a really pleasant atmosphere. Always enjoy my time here. Thank you :)

This has been a long overdue review! My girlfriend and I came here for our first valentine's day and had an amazing time! The food was amazing and we experienced true Sicilian hospitality from Frederico and the team!A big personal thank you to Frederico who was happy to amend my booking when my girlfriend was running late due to a work emergency and made sure we were looked after all night, it really made our night!

Traditional pub still sectioned into smaller rooms. Loved the feel of the place had a really nice atmosphere.Nice to see somewhere unchanged, holding on to it's history.Nice place to have a drink.

Came here with friends and had food & drinks. Great choice of drinks and delicious food. Fantastic, friendly service from bartenders Sky and Kieran. Would definitely recommend ?

I can’t stand this pub, great food served in a timely manner? Where do they get off?!! With frothy pints of Amber gold and adequate sport providings, you’re sure to find something to love if you spend an afternoon here, or even a whole evening (can’t speak for the morning, not willing to advocate unless I’m 100% certain) come on down.The bathroom attendant was if anything, too thorough.All hail Eloise!!!

My first time here.Lovely staff & an enjoyable soup of the day (tomato & basil, served with fresh sourdough bread) accompanied by a delicious mocha!Reasonably priced & I'll definitely visit again!

Good environment in a traditional pub. Just right behind our aparthotel. Service not the best but who cares when we just want to get a couple of drinks and chill in an old pub.

The Climbing Hangar Cafe

Great coffee. Tea always made just how I like it. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Great range of snacks. Love the cheese toasties. Had my first try of the pizza today. That sourdough crust is perfect. My only regret is that I ordered a margarita, which was great, but tasted the halloumi and honey pizza my friend had ordered. Their pizza was awesome. I'd made the wrong choice ?I'm never eating pizza anywhere else! Delicious.
