Did the bottomless brunch and food was lovely. Service was quick and our server Meg never left us without a drink in our hand. Great experience and would highly recommend.

NEAPOLITAN Pizza & Bar - Lime street

This was my first time visiting here, the restaurant is beautiful, very decorated, I came here on my 19th birthday on the 19th September with family. it was a nice experience but with few bad experiences, overall we ordered the pizzas which came quick, but we didn’t like that fact we was sitting near the window and there was flies flying around while we were eating. As we looked at the photos we thought this would be a larger restaurant, but it’s quite small. the toilets are only one cubical female and male, I’d imagine if the restaurant would be packed there would be a long wait for the bathroom. The pizza quality was lovely, unfortunately mine came quicker I wasn’t sure if they added motarella because I had no taste of cheese on mine, I wasn’t disappointed but if it is a “Italian restaurant” atleast make the pizzas better. it was hard to cut through the pizza. they didn’t put enough tomato sauce on the base. Eventually we came to the total of £103 which was worth it, would I come here again? maybe, but I didn’t really love it. hope to see more changes. but thank you. ?

Had an excellent bottomless brunch here, some of the nicest cocktails we’ve ever had, superb value. Our server, Becky, gave amazing service and was very kind making our day even better! Food was also delicious. Would absolutely recommend and will be going again in the near future!

Alcotraz Liverpool: Cell Block Three-Six

Alcotraz Liverpool was great! Thrilling theatrical experience with crafty guards, secret smuggling of booze and cocktails made from it brilliantly. Superintendent 'Peatches' led the drama with sharp humour and authority, keeping us laughing throughout. A joyous time of fancy dress, immersive fun and delicious drinks — simply sensational!

Dale Street Kitchen & bar by Shino

This place is amazing!! Myself and friends had one night in Liverpool and went here twice! Genuinely can not fault it.. the food .. staff.. atmosphere all really really good. The servers were so kind and the quality of food was just top notch! Definitely recommend all day long. We got lunch on arrival and went back for breakfast the next morning .. even happy to Que!! Bc it’s so worth it

Roxy Ball Room Liverpool Cavern Quarter

I went to roxy ball room with a couple friends and phoebe was a great help for us! She took our drinks order and delivered them to our table for us, giving us more time to play the games! We then asked her about playing darts and she was a wonderful help and set us up to play darts too!
It was a great experience with lovely staff!

Fogo Brazil

Absolutely incredible meal!!! The food is amazing- all the meats (so much), the salads are so wonderful and the garlic bread and cinnamon pineapple a revelation (must tries)!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly- chef Hadi is fantastic! We will be back very soon!

Wreckfish Bistro

We love this place. Liverpool should be proud of Wreckfish. There’s an honesty to the place. Watching the activity in the kitchen reveals how hard everyone is working. The food was excellent and is AMAZINGLY Good Value. Ate there with some colleagues and we all enjoyed it so much - gave us all a lift in a dreary January. Left feeling good about the world.

ewan rocks up every week like he’s the queen of england’s long lost cousin, swaggering to the quiz like it’s the worlds cup final. he’s got an ego so big it needs its own postcode and spends half the night explaining answers nobody asked for. last time he gave away a bag of stale crisps and acted like it was a nobel prize. honestly the pubs best entertainment, 10/10, would watch ewan’s ego take on this quiz again!

Had a really fun time at a work do playing several of the games. Lots of really friendly staff, Maya in particular was very helpful in explaining the games to us. Would definitely recommend!

Maray Bold Street

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We almost had the place to ourselves. We had one small niggle and that was the size of the table. With all the plates it was a bit overcrowded! We ordered too much food which was a shame as we had to leave some.

Flanagans looked after us brilliantly – 8 lads in full force isn’t always easy to handle, but Anne and Leanne were absolute stars. Friendly, welcoming, and somehow managed to keep us in line (that alone deserves 5 stars). The place is proper hospitable, the coffees and waters kept flowing, and we left with full bellies and big smiles. If you’re in Liverpool and want good food, great drinks, and staff who make you feel like old mates, Flanagans is the spot. Shoutout again to Anne & Leanne – legends!

We have just came back from miller and Carter Liverpool. The steak was perfect, it was so big and juicy ?? and the Camembert mash, so tasty. Also the beef dripping sauce, wow, just wow. Ruby was our waitress and made us feel welcome. She was very polite. \n\nThe atmosphere was calming and relaxed and is in a lovely location on the promenade. \n\nSo a wonderful night out with beautiful food and polite staff. I can only say one thing. Me and my daughter both said the same thing, the carpet makes it look really cheap like a Weatherspoon. Nothing against them but I think you can do better ??.

Would you believe me if I said that one of the things I miss the most about Liverpool is this pho? Because believe it or not I do! Just writing this is making my mouth water! It seems a bit of a random thing to miss but when I tell you it's good, it's real good. I'm so glad I had the pleasure of running into this place because it became a staple in our lives where we would treat ourselves to some pho at least once a month. Our go-to was always the hot & spicy tofu because the flavour was delicious! It wasn't super spicy but the taste was so good! & the tofu so Spongey soaking in all the delicious flavors. We tired multiple times to try other stuff and while good, it just didn't hit the spot like the spicy tofu. Along with their spring rolls. Anyways give it a try if you're in a pho mood and enjoy some for me! Until we meet again, Pho!

Churrasco Steak House - City - Liverpool

1st visit to Churrasco Steak House and it definitely won't be the last. Really great food (both had steak) with genuinely lovely service from Frank and Katie. We were early so it was quiet but still top notch. Highly recommended:)

Ajab Gajab Indian Street food Restaurant & Bar

Brilliant food! Had the dosa and chicken Kathi roll for 'starters' both were amazing. The curries we ordered were all delicious and the roti and rice was cooked perfectly. Neha severed us and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Sugar and Dice Board Game Café

We had the best time at Sugar and Dice for a One Shot D&D beginner session. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are super friendly. Big shout out to Adam for running an incredible session - we will definitely be back!

Churrasco Steak House

Oh my! What a fantastic meal. Delicious generous steak, perfectly cooked. Not greasy, just perfect. Wonderful tasty sides of rocket and mushrooms. And…. Easily the best red wine we’ve had out in months- the salento. Wow! And then.. the best white chocolate cheesecake, ever.
This place is as good as , or better than Hawksmoor and Cowshed. Staff and service fantastic also

Fazenda Rodizio Bar & Grill Liverpool

The food was amazing – it was great fun having steak and different cuts of meat constantly brought to the table. Most of it was cooked rare, which I loved, though I know that won’t be for everyone. The sides were a nice addition rather than the main event, especially the parmesan chips, which were excellent. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a Brazilian-style meat restaurant but it is on the expensive side.

Moose Coffee

Food is unreal. Service was excellent! They were very busy but moved some tables around to accommodate our party of 6. Declan was fab and props to Ste the chef ❤️ thanks guys!

Light of Bengal

Personally this is my favourite place to go for a curry in Liverpool. The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the staff are attentive.

My only negative is that most of the soft drinks are cans rather than draught. Not enough of a negative to knock a star off though.

Stand out dishes have to be the Makhanwalla, Modhu and the Lamb Rezala.

It was an absolute pleasure to visit the Art School Restaurant for the first time, the service and venue were fantastic, but the food was next level! A must visit if you want love the perfect dinning experience.

Malmaison Liverpool

Excellent service and food at Malmaison Liverpool. From the greeting we received at reception when we arrived, to the bar staff and restaurant staff all were warm, friendly and professional. A staycation to celebrate my birthday meant we received complimentary drinks to enjoy in the bar.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the Liver Building. Big shower and plenty of fluffy towels.
An interesting menu with lots of options available in the restaurant. We had a deal which included dinner, bed & breakfast. ( Excellent value!). We chose crab tacos for a starter, fresh crunchy tacos and delicious crab. Our mains were Lamb Bhuna, with rice and a cod prawn stew. All arrived hot and tasty with veggie side dishes. A delicious sticky toffee pudding and pina colada triffle were our puddings. Fresh and delicious.
Breakfast was equally as good. Hot options were cooked to order. Staff friendly and helpful.
A great location, definitely worth a stay. The deals are value for money!

Camp and Furnace

I’ve done two quizzes here (Gavin and Stacey and Stranger Things) and I have to say there is no place like it. The effort they put in to the themed prizes, mimi games, decor and food and drink options make it feel worth the money as soon as you walk in the door.

The host is brilliant, so funny and engaging, really keeps the energy going in what is quite a long quiz. But it goes by so quickly because of that!

Even if you aren’t that into the quiz subject I would recommend going because it’s such a fun way to spend your evening regardless.

A few points for constructive criticism:

- A deal on the cocktails would be nice (buy four, get one free or something)

- The questions on the Stranger Things were generally good, but also too easy. We knew all 70 answers (bar one) and only made 4-5 mistakes from rushing (so clicking the wrong answer by accident or needing more time to think). Despite that, we still didn’t come in the top three, which is no surprise as for most of the questions more than 90% of people knew the answer!

But that’s not too important, it’s more about the fun and the vibes, and I get that it’s trying to be more inclusive than your standard pub quiz, which are usually pretty difficult. This is very different from a pub quiz, and I mean that in the best way possible!

Zero Seven One Bar & Base

Mya was amazing, she was dealing with guests arriving and also serving customers at the bar. I had fun trying to place her accent ? She managed to juggle her tasks really well, she's a credit to the place. Thanks to Victor for the food too, all 3 of us had the burger with extra bacon and onion rings. Couldn't fault it.

Best food we've had for a long time, everything was tasty and portions were a good size. We were there with a Travelzoo deal but I'd pay full price because the quality was top notch. Service was faultless too.

The Exchange Restaurant

Dined here mid week as a couple having swapped an Activity Superstore voucher for this experience. It was for steak and wine for 2. The meal was lovely and we added starters and a dessert which were also high quality. Service was excellent. The wine was good considering the voucher is for house red. My only issue is that I think a sauce could be included rather than having to pay extra. Very nice place to sit and I would recommend this experience.

A solid quick stop at McDonald’s near Albert Dock. Clean, bright, and easy to navigate, with a convenient location for tourists and locals alike. Service is generally efficient and friendly, and the classics—crispy fries, a reliable Big Mac—don’t disappoint. It can get busy, especially on weekends, making it a tad noisy and slow to find a table. Overall, good value for a quick meal with a convenient waterfront twist.

I had a drive through so could not comment t on the atmosphere. I think I habe said this before I'm not a bit fan of fast food but on the odd occasion it's better than nothing when I'm busy. This place is one of the better if nit the best macdonals I have been. Staff very friendly and conscientious. Food came out hot and chips were hot nit like alot of other places where they're either warm or cold.... I would recommend this place for sure.

Now to some people this may seem nothing but this kind of attitude goes a very long way and makes peoples day with the simplest of manors.

The food was hot as usual.

Went to celebrate my birthday with friends on Saturday and we had such a good time. We got food in from Amalia Cichetti over the road. Staff treated us really well and the atmosphere was great.

Cosy, quirky bar with a fabulous selection real ales and a wide variety of beer styles. Something for everyone! Very knowledgeable and welcoming staff. 2/3 measures as standard so a little pricier than elsewhere, but worth it for the quality and sampling opportunities. Worth seeking out this hidden treasure!

Hobo Kiosk

Dear Mr and Mrs Hobo,
Where to begin?
I stumbled across this place on the way back from my last wedding and needless to say, I was blown away.
I bowed through the short doorway and crept down the narrow stairs to a quirky little room full of hippies and punks.
The sheer amount of hippies and punks caused me to have a rather intense flashback to my Woodstock days, and that’s when things got crazy. My mind flipped, and I was no longer a 7 times married, (5 times divorced and one incident involving The Jimi Hendrix Experience) 76 year old man. The overwhelming sense of peace and love caused me to ooze with confidence and I instantly fell in love with a chess-playing goth. Naturally, she would only use the black pieces, but would still beat me every time.
Entire days have passed since then and she is now pregnant with my 16th son, we are calling him Hobo Che Osbourne.
I have decided to leave my 7th wife, Linda, and pursue Feathered Edge, as she is now the love of my life.
I owe everything to the Hobos, and I hope my 8th marriage lasts at least as long as my 2nd one did.

BlackDoor Bar & Bistro

A real local gem. We were originally going to another local cafe but after waiting forever to be served we came here instead and so so glad we did. The breakfast was top drawer, great portions and happy to accommodate my wife who can be a bit picky ?. But what makes this place is the staff. Super friendly and they seemed to know a lot of the customers by name, which gave it a great community feel. Will definitely be going back again. 10/10

The Denbigh Castle

One of many excellent real ale pubs to visit during any stay in lovely Liverpool.

Several cask ales and all perfectly kept, served at a spot on cellar temperature. There is also a nice range of keg beers to choose from so all can be happy here.

Ropes & Twines Liverpool

Ropes and Twines is probably in the top 3 of favourite places in Liverpool.
Not only is the staff incredibly kind and welcoming, they love to help you find the wine that is best suited to you. I have purchased many a glass for myself, but coming here is always a must do for a birthday gift.
There is such a sense of community here. The owner takes so much time to chat with everyone.
And if all of that wasn’t enough to convince you to come, the food is UNREAL- my personal favorite is their GF banana bread

The Crows Nest

My favourite type of bar. Just people enjoying a pint, good relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, and good selection. If I lived here this would be certain to be my local.

Lefteris Greek Taverna

Very enjoyable evening spent here,had giant beans for starter then meat meze for main followed by semolina cake for dessert,my wife had king prawns,fish meze and greek yoghurt for dessert,food absolutely delicious although portions quite big so could not finish it all,staff very nice,excellent evening,will be returning

The Philharmonic Dining Rooms

A generally positive experience. You order via a QR code but it does not allow any modifications (ie No Mayo). If you want any changes you technically need to order at the bar but items will still come out the way they are listed on the menu even if you ask for a change. The fish and chips is good, as are the burgers although they come out your regular chips (not the large ones which come with fish). By the item my food came out my family was just about finished eating. They have a sign touting their toilets which are nothing special to be honest. Good food and nice ambiance as long as you are okay with no modifications to the food and ordering via a website or at the bar.

Lion Tavern

I really like this pub. I return again and again. Another fabulous example of old Liverpool's pub architecture. The inside has loads of original features and as a result it feels authentic.

There is a front bar, and a slightly separate 'news-room' at the back, where decades ago, patrons would sit with a drink and read the newspapers. There are even the original 'ring for service' buttons on the walls, although these days you'll need to visit the bar yourself in order to get served.

The pub has a genuine feel, and is in insight into what many of the characterful lost Liverpool pubs would have looked like.

It's a drinks pub, if you're looking for pub food, try The Railway next door.

Shiraz BBQ

This is a really nice family friendly restaurant, they had a kids menu and a high chair suitable for our 2 year old. My wife had halloumi and I had the chicken shish, both of which were delicious. Our two year old had nuggets and chips which she enjoyed. We will happily eat here again.

Great place, food delious and staff very nice. Been here many times. Tried a,new dish, Pan Seered fish (look the menu up) and its now my favourite dish. If you like fish try this one, highly recomended

Beautiful food. Great place to eat. A little tight in space but worth it.
Very flexible menu, i dont eat pig, and they are willing to change dishes as everything is fresh.

I absolutely could not recommend Etsu enough! My partner booked a meal for my birthday and everything that we ordered was exceptional, especially the sea bass and spider roll. The staff were helpful and so friendly, and even added an extra birthday surprise! The food is so delicious and authentic and we can’t wait to visit again. This will definitely become a new favourite place for us.

Really nice food, atmosphere and staff! A bit tricky to find if you don't know it's there but I suppose it's part of its beauty. Definitely worth a stop!

The Quarter

Honestly the only restaurant I go to!!! The staff are brilliant, as someone with coeliac disease they’re amazing and reallly understand it!

The gluten free pizza is stunning and I highly reccomend & the staff are lovely every time x

Amalia - Italian Restaurant Liverpool

I have never been a person who enjoys going out to eat alone but when I visited Amalia I was warmly greeted and taken to my table. I ordered a lasagne and sautéed potatoes and the Lasagne was amazing if Momma would’ve made lasagne like this I would have always been asking for lasagne!! Lovely restaurant and would highly recommend

Great place for Spanish food. We came early on a Friday early evening without a reservation, thankfully it was only a short wait for a table.

We ordered the peppers, chorizo, albondigas, calamari and aubergine stack. All the dishes were excellent. My favourites were the albondigas and aubergine stack.

They also have a nice speciality food store at the front, which is also worth checking out.

Tortilla Liverpool

The spiced apple slush margs were overly frozen you couldn’t drink them even after waiting for ages.

My partner just started spooning the ice and it did taste nice but I was disappointed as I wanted a drink - I asked if I could return mine rather than spoon the ice and the manager was really friendly and gave me a refund and I really appreciated how it was handled - it is whoever is on shift just now! Give her a raise!

We went here Friday . As soon as we arrived the place was welcoming and cosy. Staff were lovely . We had a table near to the open kitchen were I could watch the food be prepared and cooked and served like clock work. We chose the swordfish and the Seabass . This was truly the nicest meal we have had eating out in a long time and will be going back each Friday to try out another delicious dish . Could not fault this place .

Organised a hen do here and could not fault the place! Amazing vibes , food was brought out fast and was hot and good quality & drinks were always on hand when we needed them. excellent freshly cooked food , generous portions, we were served quickly ( Saturday lunchtime ) and the restaurant is very clean and spacious ( including the bathroom whuch should be the norm but often is not )

I Gave this 4 stars because we found 2 members of staff a little rude. It's a Sunday late afternoon and in reality no one books. It's a restaurant you get passing trade. On entry the man in the black suit with a blue shirt on frantically looked for a table whilst telling us to wait a couple of times before giving us a table. Then a lady taking the order was a bit off. We ordered for our little one who had been sleeping and we asked for rice with the meatballs instead of the chips ,to which there was an immediate comment about it being an extra pound or two. Like whatever!!! Most places on bold street offer rice or chips with the meals. NO difference and not an issue. Then when ordering a wine ,the Mrs had already ordered a wine and the man gave her a medium sized wine which he said he did , then the lady came and asked. She said what was It? The Mrs asked for a medium again to which she replied we only do small or large. Get some consistency with the front of house team.
Besides the few negatives, the food was delicious and the lunch menu was great value, nice portion sizes unlike the restaurant opposite. We would come again despite the weirdness and I did take the service charge off , it was not deserved.
Funny a family came in for the lunch menu 20 mins after the end time. When they were told it was too late they politely said they were going to leave. However the lady then changed her tune and said I'll go and find out, clearly didn't want to lose the business. Note for the management don't let your front of house ruin you name and reviews.
Remember that money is tight these days and you rely on US to keep you going.

Great food, friendly and engaging staff and comfortable seating. The quality of the food was great and for a very resonable price. Good ambience, overall, a very positive experience.

Visited a few great pubs in 2 weeks so far in the UK, this may possibly be the best.

I ordered Yarl from Fyne Ales,
the landlord without prompting pointed out 3 ales I hadn't spotted, explaining their flavour profiles. Extremely impressive and guaranteed I would at least stay for a second pint after the Yarl.

The pint was £4.50(200 THB) and was in absolutely perfect condition.

Even better was the North Cotswold Hung Drawn and Portered, I had after it. The landlord had discovered the brewery on his travels and then worked with the brewery to get it to Liverpool- outstanding.

Cash payment was preferred and was happy to oblige.a business so deserving of support.

Copper Pot

We can go celebrate a family birthday! Food was perfect. Atmosphere was warm an inviting! The staff were all amazing - so friendly and cannot do enough for you!! Deffo recommend!!

Coopers Town House

One of the best pubs in Liverpool. It's very cosy, and always has a great crowd and atmosphere. Staff make the place, always busy but make time for chat. See you soon.

A present off my family for my birthday and had to extend the voucher they had bought due to my wife breaking her leg and the restaurant advising there was stairs. A small fee but so happy I did. They emailed me to advise on voucher being extended and moved from the original booking , then emailed re new date and reminders so I didn’t forget. The food was spectacular , we had the wine pairing included to and the sommelier was informative about all the matched wines. Being able to talk to the Chef about the food , interests , past work and life in general was refreshing and made it a warm and intimate experience we both loved. The preparation and skill going into the menu was obvious and I did tell the Chef it was up there with one of the best food experiences I have had and I meant it.

Absolutely amazing food! I got the prawn cocktail and seafood linguine and they were phenomenal I'll deffinitely be back to try more if the menu a true hidden gem!

FRITTO ITALIAN STREET FOOD

Don't know where to start from

Pizzas, arancini supplì... they're incredible... But probably the best thing they do is the calzone. It's better than the ones I had in Puglia (Apulia).

Last Sunday I bought tons of stuff, brought them to my home in the Wirral (so 35 mins by car) and the fried stuff was still crunchy (how is that even possible). Popped the pizza in the oven at 210 for 3 minutes and boom, just like new.

And it's a bargain too. £4 quid for the Margherita, £6.50 for a gigantic sandwich full of actually Italian stuff, £8 for a calzone as big as your face filled with like 100g of spicy spianata.

The only thing I would improve, is that the nutella filling of the bombolone (which was great too) didn't taste much like Nutella, but more like a chocolate filling (maybe I was wrong and it's not supposed to be)

AND, if you manage to provide Estathé as a soft drink, I'll pretty much be there at your shop every week

What a great place, friendly staff, most excellent vegan food, and not terribly expensive.
Had the two for one burger offer (Tuesdays) and both were excellent, Macs Big Break and Apple Jacks BBQ - that's a lot of food, to be clear I only ate one of them, my wife had the other!

I’ve had this pub on my list for a while now, but wasn’t sure when I’d finally visit since it’s quite far away from most other places.

It turned out to be the perfect warm, sunny day to go, and the visit ended up being pretty spontaneous. I absolutely loved the old, quirky vibe this place gives off. What attracted me most was the unique bar; I’d seen pictures of it online before, and it’s honestly just as interesting in person. I could easily spend ages just gazing at all the little details without even realising.

We ordered two pints of Madri, sat outside, and soaked up the sunshine. A really lovely experience overall.

The Globe

Nice pint just been refurbished sadly they have introduced TVs into this once very social pub. You were always guaranteed to meet and talk to people now just another pub with sport bellowing from the box so sad.

Very cozy Italian restaurant with a large menu. Everything is delicious from the meat dishes to the pastas and pizzas. The desserts are also amazing. The portion sizes and prices are also good.

Thanks to all the staff who helped make my mums 80th birthday celebration special. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff went above and beyond. Food was great . Dog friendly and all the family had a lovely day.

The Beehive

This is another old Tetley pub that I used to frequent many years ago. We used to go here before we went to the cinema, it was near three cinemas but they have all been demolished now. This pub has not changed a bit, it doesn't need to. It's always been service with a smile and a pint on the bar at a very reasonable price.

Boss Burgers Liverpool

I ordered the parmesan truffle fries to go and they where really good. Great interior and fast service, it's a very handy place in the childwall area so it's great if your looking for something handy and delicious.

Richmond Hotel

Don't be fooled by the name it's just a pub not an actual hotel. Went on a Sunday evening, was quiet but pleasant. Barman was attentive and pleasant. It serves beers and spirits - enough said :-).

What a hidden gem been coming liverpool 30 plus years and furst time here ,sorry croc! Needs more promoting as a fantastic authentic boozer ,what's with the pitted floor *genuine question ) will be back now its on our list .

Great Place ? Lisa always serves the best and freshest tasty foods available, she has a wide menu range and will cater for requested meals off menu if possible , they have a kids menu and the portions available are big ,you could actually share a main meal between 2 people so the prices match the quantity in the meal ,it's fairly priced and a very clean and tidy take away one of the best by far around ! Visit yeung xing and I also suggest you try the salt and pepper range especially the ribs ! .

Arts Club

Amazing place to see live bands. It made me nostalgic because it reminded me of a venue I used to go to when I was younger.

It's the perfect size (not too big and not too small), they sell drinks and merch, there's a balcony to view from (get up there quick before it gets too busy!). Staff are friendly. Parking close by.

All around great place and would love to go back for another concert.

Mackenzie's Whisky Bar

My twin brother Stephen and I joined friends in Mackenzie's Whiskey Bar to celebrate a friends 40th birthday and what a great time we had. A great looking bar ,interior is superb ,a cool looking serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,love the paintings on the walls ,big screens to enjoy the sport and there's lots of seating options ,it's just a great bar to unwind in. On our visit staff were superb ,looked after our group ,I stayed on guinness which was absolutely delicious , I also enjoyed some great craft beers ,all our group were well looked after ,beers were kept flowing ,had a great time in here . Mackenzie's Whisky Bar is easy to locate along Rodney Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Millon Tandoori

Went for an Indian with a bunch of friends. Atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely. Service was excellent and timely. We ordered butter chicken, murgi masala, chicken korma and a bunch of starters, all of which were fabulous. Would definitely visit again.

Blue Anchor

I have the wings, chips and mac+cheese. The food was amazing and the staff are so friendly. The atmosphere is brilliant.

They have just started to do deliveries and I need a new takeaway to try! So I went to George and Angela’s and the delivery was 20 mins! Brilliant and the food was gorgeous, I had chicken chow mein and it’s my new favourite! I have a feeling I’ll be going here a lot!!! Thank you :)

Cavern Club

We were lucky enough to go to the Pub and see the Beatles tribute. The atmosphere and the people, the place and its music make everything become an experience, without looking for it. As Paul McCartney would say, “I don't know anyone who doesn't go to The Cavern and come away with an anecdote.”

Called in on a whim as the restaurant looked inviting and I’m so pleased we did. A really warm welcome and a really cosy atmosphere. The food was out of this world too. We shared bread and olives, arancini, insalata caprese and bruschetta and wow. All so fresh and tasty. I washed it down with a delicious glass of red wine and it was a perfect evening. Can’t wait to go back!

Real Taste Kurdish Restaurant

We visited in September and we all had a lovely meal. Everyone enjoyed everything. Food was delicious. Service was good. No complaints and we are going back today!

This is the latest Thai Massage shop to open in Liverpool. Well worth the visit. Incredible friendly staff with a wealth of experience in sorting out your aches and pains.

The warehouse cafe

What an absolute amazing restaurant/cafe this place is.
Have been twice now and the food was perfect in every bite.
There salad, fresh crunchy, went well with the salmon and avocado. Sweet potato yummy.
Also tried there poached eggs, did not let me down..
Hopefully will visit again.

Spitroast Smithdown

From the minute we stepped in the door, I loved this place!!
Ciara provided excellent service to me, my partner and our young daughters! Abbie who served us our drinks was also very attentive and made our experience super enjoyable!

The food was absolutely out of this world! I had the beef roast, and my partner had the chicken! We both took only a couple of bites before saying it was the best roast we have had in a long long time! Credits to the chef, David!
Gonna be dreaming about that sweet potato mash, until next time ?

The Flute

Great pub for students and locals alike HOWEVER, they didn’t play the Welsh OR Scottish national anthems, which is utter woke nonsense, hence the 4 star review for atmosphere. Me, Poopy Sniff and our friends were unimpressed and we hope this issue is amended soon, until then hanchor is the obvious choice.

Traditional fish and chips, we had a great meal there, the fish cake was wonderful fish was so fresh and tasty, fish n chips were great, chips were so smooth feels like milk inside. Tables sets simple and clean, service was very good.

Lovelocks Coffee Shop

This is a cute little cafe near the city center. The staff is so friendly and the vibe is wonderful. We had a cortado and the piña colada cake oh my god, it was so yummy! I can't praise it enough. The prices are also reasonable. This is a must visit place if you love cute cafes!

Allerton Hall - Dining & Carvery

Stunning building in beautiful surroundings, staff were really friendly and shout out to the assistant? Manager who was doing front of house. So approachable and keen to ensure everyone got the most from their visit regardless of how long they were staying and how much they spent.

Note to anyone interested in the history of this building and the surrounding estate, ask for the pink folder whilst you relax ??

Went here for bottomless brunch 25/1/2026 and we could not have got more lucky with our waiter Oliver. So funny and kind, really made the atmosphere so much more enjoyable. Couldnt recommend hope and anchor more especially for bottomless brunch :)

Bêkas Cafê

Really authentic and nice Kurdish place. The food is incredible. The falafel is the best I’ve ever had. The coffee is also so smooth and creamy. The Arabic breakfast and the hot mezzo are definitely must haves! The Staff are also so so friendly

O'Neill'S Liverpool

Had a lovely time at O'Neill's today, the service was second to none. Was really looked after by lovely young lady called Kelsey, she was so professional, attentive and charming made sure all our needs where taken care of.
We had a breakfast and it was stunning such good quality all of it was amazing great flavours and produce cooked by a great kitchen team of Jack and Harry i believe.
I would return here again just from the service i received from Kelsey alone such a wonderful person looked after everyone all alone an left no one waiting just wonderful and impressive to see.

The Cambridge Public House

Came out to this pub with my buddy; the location is absolutely ideal, just a couple of minutes from campus. We ordered two pints of Moretti and had a great time.
The atmosphere was really nice, made even better by the amazing weather today.

Staff were friendly and served our drinks quickly. Would happily come back again!
