Me and my friend are from nottingham and came to Liverpool for my birthday. We came for bottomless brunch and Katie was so helpful, lovely and friendly, constantly coming back for drinks and just a great atmosphere. Much better service than what we get in Nottingham. 10/10 recommend!

Really nice place right near the station! Lovely doughy pizza, great taste and good coffee too. Tamer served us and was very friendly and helpful.

I regularly go here and Shino and the girls cannot do enough for you! The food is always well presented, hot & tasty no matter how busy they are! The food is delicious and very reasonably price. I love the steak sandwich and this desert I had recently was insane!

Wreckfish Bistro

We love this place. Liverpool should be proud of Wreckfish. There’s an honesty to the place. Watching the activity in the kitchen reveals how hard everyone is working. The food was excellent and is AMAZINGLY Good Value. Ate there with some colleagues and we all enjoyed it so much - gave us all a lift in a dreary January. Left feeling good about the world.

Alcotraz Liverpool: Cell Block Three-Six

Great group activity, definitely requires participation in bits to enjoy it. They didn’t use any of the alcohol we brought though which was a bit of a pain as we’d bought it specifically. The drinks they made were very basic and tasted like squash.

The actors were great though and kept everyone engaged through.

I’ve had the best visit today here, it’s always a favourite of mine in Liverpool for casual bit of food and drink & it’s always 5 star. The server at the bar Arlene and Ben also organised a tab for me in order for me to get a Friday deal on Prosecco, they were very friendly and very accommodating.

We came to the Otterspool Prom branch for an anniversary meal and we were really happy with our evening. Drinks, food and service were great and we definitely prefer the atmosphere here compared to the Docks. Ella transformed our experience with Miller and Carter and was really attentive and friendly. Maray Bold Street

This was one of the nicest meals we’ve had for so long! The atmosphere in Maray is just lovely - contemporary and comfortable. The menu has a great selection of contemporary North African/Middle Eastern dishes, and great accommodation of different dietary requirements. It would be impossible to pick a favourite dish, everything went together so well, however the disco cauliflower was a huge treat. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and anticipated our needs perfectly. We spent a lovely evening there!

Lovely place!! We were served by Anne and Louise and they were so welcoming and attentive. We were also very hungover when we came in and Bianca’s food fixed us right up. She worked a miracle and it tasted so good!!

Lovely relaxed vibes.
Great service, fabulous food - we had the ‘greedy cow’ for 2.
Flat iron, rump and ribeye between the 2 of us with 2 sides and 2 sauces was great. The blue cheese sauce was 11/10!!!!
And the cheesecake special (biscoff cheesecake) was brilliant too!

This was my second time coming as we loved it so much the first time we decided to come back and the service was amazing, the food was phenomenal and the interior was gorgeous such a lovely place to come for a delicious meal and friendly service definitely recommend!

Moose Coffee

Fun, friendly staff, great vibe and wonderfully homemade food. Absolutely love this place. The chorizo eggs are the bomb and the baked goods are better than my grandmother's. (Sorry, Grandma.) Wish there was a Moose Coffee in the States!!!

Maray Albert Dock

My Mum chose this restaurant for her birthday celebration and we all absolutely loved it, fantastic night location being within the dock, parking right outside. The menu was extensive, with some incredible flavours and covered all of our needs inc GF and Vegetarian. Even opted for all of the desserts to share around the table. Really lovely evening and excellent service, would highly recommend

arrived here late on a Friday evening to grab dinner with a party of around 15 of us the kitchen was due to close but they did squeeze us in. the hostess was firm and efficient not overly friendly, and I opted for the sweetcorn chowder and coleslaw sides. The food did take some time to arrive however the soup was delicious very thick and creamy. I was less keen on a coleslaw sides which was rather bland. nice little venue.

What an absolute amazing restaurant/cafe this place is.
Have been twice now and the food was perfect in every bite.
There salad, fresh crunchy, went well with the salmon and avocado. Sweet potato yummy.
Also tried there poached eggs, did not let me down..
Hopefully will visit again.

Eagles and Steely Dan night by the Classic Duo Band. It was a great night, and the groups were superb!

Starbucks Coffee

I visited the shop about a fortnight ago and was surprised at how quiet it was at the time, especially after consuming such a delicious drink. I was however, dissatisfied at the quality of customer service. The level of unprofessionalism was quite shocking when I noticed 2 female staff members seemingly sitting on each other and giggling in the office, all while I was waiting to order. Despite this, I was eventually served by another staff member who was polite and prompt. I still enjoyed my experience and the drink but I will not be in a rush back.

The Exchange Restaurant

Dined here mid week as a couple having swapped an Activity Superstore voucher for this experience. It was for steak and wine for 2. The meal was lovely and we added starters and a dessert which were also high quality. Service was excellent. The wine was good considering the voucher is for house red. My only issue is that I think a sauce could be included rather than having to pay extra. Very nice place to sit and I would recommend this experience.

I just wanted to say this is the best local service station I have been to around the Hunts Cross & Woolton Area.I always go here every couple mornings on my commute to work to get a drink or get some fuel.There is one worker called Sarah who is the loveliest attendant behind the desk. She always asks how I am and how my day is going! Great customer service. Please pass my message on to her.Easy to access in and out of the garage.Only problem is the air and screen wash pump area is a little cramped if you have a big car. Fortunately I drive a little KIA so no problem!Fuel is reasonably priced too!

The Bastion Restaurant

Seems to The Spot for hen nights...which is awesome if you're part of a hen party, which I was not! Food was very good, service was doing okay given that there were **five** hen parties with at least 10 members each to deal with. Will avoid on Saturday even at 5pm.

The Bridewell

Great boozer with some of the best service you’ll find in Liverpool. On a busy match day the staff are switched on and ready, so you won’t be waiting long. They will also provide table service to prevent a crush inside and they operate like a well oiled machine - great stuff guys.
I have never been inside one of the booths/cells, but it’s a cool quirky feature. Outside is great with plenty of cover and heat lamps if it’s cold, tvs everywhere (main bar, outside, inside each booth/cell) and cracking tunes playing when there isn’t a match on. A good selection of German lager and they do seem to take pride in their Guinness which was good to see (although my pints on this particular visit could have been poured better, it tasted great).
It’s very busy on Saturdays or when a match is on, so keep that in mind, but this place comes highly recommended.

Ajab Gajab Indian Street food Restaurant & Bar

A different level. By far the best take away I’ve experienced in Formby. Deliciously succulent lamb chops. A beautifully spicy Masala. Fresh, tasty, succulent, unlike almost all other venues with their tasteless dry homogeneous offerings. This place stands apart and will be a weekly treat. Yes, it’s pricier than elsewhere but the quality of their food justifies it. And the delivery guy and lady on the phone were both exemplary. Every other restaurant or take away in Formby I’ve experienced doesn’t come remotely close. 10/10.

Guac 'n' Roll Kitchen

Can't believe it's taken us so long to visit this place. They do mock meats, like Seitan, so well, the texture alone was enough to rave about but the flavour was full on!

The London Carriage Works

Had coffee and cake for a birthday treat. Great service and delicious carrot cake- although it could have done with a bit more flavour ie vanilla or cinnamon or both. Beautiful atmosphere. If you want relaxed atmosphere, this is your place. Love it here. Will definitely be returning.

The Crafty Swine

Now that The Crafty Swine is merged with Neon Jamon you can mix and match your order with either tapas or from the pub menu. Went for tea and chose 5 tapas dishes between 2 of us, and there was more than enough, could probably just have had 4 dishes. Food tasted fabulous, and cannot fault the friendly service. Really recommend you try this place.

This pub, in my mind, is an essential visit for real ale drinking when doing real ales in Liverpool???

The Denbigh Castle

The joint-best pub in Liverpool (tied with The Bridewell). Lovely old boozer, great selection of well kept cask ales, decent pint of Guinness, premium lager selection, sound staff, and sports shown.

The Old Post Office Liverpool

Found this pub by pure change last night...walked in to a nice friendly pub . Nice beer nice cider , the gents toilets need looking after but my wife said the ladies was fine..the bar man was great and talked to everyone. The locals were nice and kept us chatting all night..

The Bramley Moore

Stadium will be finished by the end of the year. It has an extensive fan zone which will hold non matchday events. There are several restaurants in the stadium which is the new home of Everton Football Club. It is expected that it will be used year round for concerts and boxing etc. It has been chosen to host games in the next European Championships.

The Albert

Absolutely huge pub in Lark Lane. Victorian interior but has been well maintained. Has a good range of beers and real ales. Has lovely comfy armchairs in the lounge.

The Philharmonic Dining Rooms

A must do venue if visiting Liverpool. The building inside and out is amazing.

The pies were delicious and beer excellent.

Service was super friendly too.

The Crows Nest

Very friendly service, makes you welcome, they let you charge your when you forget yours, very polite, beer is excellent, and they serve mild which they don't have in South of England, proper Guinness which they take time recommended the Irish way, best Guinness I ever tasted in this arena, outside tables, and chairs, and there is a parking area

Pho

Tried this place on a whim when passing. Actually turned out to be very impressive and memorable. Surprisingly big inside, plenty tables. The staff were so welcoming and friendly that we felt good immediately.
Service was excellent and didn’t feel pressured in any way. Menu wasn’t huge in choice but was clearly explained.
The dishes are big and use very fresh ingredients. Quality was excellent and large portion sizes. Had a very healthy feel to it as Vietnam food usually does.
Price was reasonable for what we got.
Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will definitely make it a regular eating stop in future.

Light of Bengal

The food was absolutely stunning! We had a chicken biryani, chicken tikka pasanda, and the keema naan. Service was brilliant too will definitely be coming again :)

Sultan's Palace

A fantastic restsurant from decor to service and food. Situated in the basement which adds to the atmosphere. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly. A huge selection of food was available, with chefs selections and banquets available. Everything was served hot and was delicious. Would love to return if I visit Liverpool again

Sugar and Dice Board Game Café

I recommend this cafe a whole lot!
The food is fresh and tasty, the prices are very friendly and they have good meal deals to offer.

A nice selection of coffees, teas and other hot drinks, which pair nicely with the cakes.

They have a great selection of board games, so far i've only been with one other person but we still haven't scratched the surface of all the games you can play with just 2 people.
would love to bring more people again.

The staff are very welcoming and kind, when i was there there was a lady and another gentleman who served us, and i'd like to thank them for their good service.

whenever im in Liverpool again (often), it will be a place thats in my mind to vist for sure, and i cant wait to be there again!

Came here with high expectations after reading reviews and there always being a queue outside. Food was good but certainly not the nicest Italian we've been to and we definitely wouldn't queue to get in again. We had dough balls to start which were amazing but the lasagne was pretty average. We asked for a cheesy garlic bread to go with our lasagnes but this arrived with the starter and was unfortunately cold by the time our lasagnes came out.

The Egg Vegetarian Cafe

Still a great spot after all these tears. Wholesome veggie food and an informal boho vibe.

Vegetarian options: It's on the top floor of an old listed building so check before visiting if you have access requirements.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about this due to top floor location. Give them a ring before visiting.

Shiraz North John Street is the best in the Liverpool The staff are great and the chef did us the prawns without Garlic and was 100% tasty the lamb chops and kebabs are the best.we get them every time we visit

Almost Famous Liverpool

Visited here last time we were in Liverpool and must say it was a highlight of the trip. Delicious cocktails and amazing food but unfortunately the prices have been increased quite a bit since we last visited in November 2023 which did put a slight dampner on the meal. We got the Hot Af Blasts and Pig & Waffle Fries for dinner and cherry bomb cocktails.

I ordered a jumbo mix box and a chicken tikka biriyani and it was piping hot and tasted delicious. The spice was just right and service was extremely fast. I ESPECIALLY enjoyed their donner meat the sauce was banging. Ill be ordering from them soon

Easily one of the nicest curry's I've had in a long time. Tried 3 new dishes with recommendations and help from the staff and loved them all!

Prices were also so good, especially for the size of the portion. Will defo visit again to try something else new.

Fongs Hot Food

Server was really pleasant. Chose fish and chips, it was huge with nice thin crisp batter on the fish. Only complaint was not much salt and vinegar taste, not sure if it was forgotten or skimped on, but I'm sure they would have addressed this if I'd realised before leaving. Excellent value.

We had 2 big breakfast wraps and they were the nicest breakfast wraps we have ever had, there was a lovely lady who took our order number & brought us our food & drinks and checked in to make sure the food was okay, we didn’t catch her name but she was lovely!

Dingle Takeaway - Restaurant Quality

The Dingle is full of takeaway restaurants; none of them are as good as here. It's unbelievably good food, especially when you consider the portions and the prices.

It's always been consistently good, and they aren't on any of the big takeaway apps - which makes it even better. It's like the best kept secret and the owners get to keep more of their money. Everyone wins.

The idea of dousing food in garlic butter was the single greatest idea anyone has ever had. Never seen anywhere else do it. Sounds so wrong, but its right. It's really, really right.

I spend a lot of time in China with work - frivolous amounts of money have been spent on food to entertain us. Yet, have to say, none of it really come anywhere close to the taste, and lets face it, the emotional comfort of getting a HEAVY takeaway from here and smashing it out whilst your partner looses her mind at MAFS.

10/10, wouldn't bother going anywhere else. This place is epic.

Never had any problems with the staff working here. They are always friendly and extremely helpful. Whilst I was waiting to be served, another customer was being shown the allergy information for the baked goods. Just shows that the staff are attentive.

Today I am eating at the best rated McDonald’s in my area and leaving an honest review! St John’s McDonald’s in Liverpool is rated 3.9 out of 5 Stars. Will it be better than the lowest rated McDonald’s in my last video? Let’s find out! I ordered the new Big Tasty Meal my receipt didn’t come out again, but I got my food in only 2 minutes… that’s fast food and that’s a star ? With plenty of seating I was easily able to find somewhere to sit and eat my meal, that’s a star ? The big tasty was indeed big and tasty “that’s what she said” I had no issues with my food that’s a star ? I ordered a free ruby kitkat McFlurry, the presentation was a lot better than in my last video and it tasted unreal! 5 Stars ? Where should I review next?

Amazing little pub in the city centre. Great beer and friendly service. A real beer drinkers oasis amongst the shops and loud karaoke bars of Liverpool 1
The beer is well kept and always have several different ales on.

Peter Kavanagh's

We visited Peter Kavanagh's in Liverpool, near the Cathedral, based on a friend's recommendation. It was around 3pm, from the outside we weren't sure if it was open, but went in and was pleased it was. The pub was quiet, with just a few locals and groups catching up. The Guinness was good and affordable, as was the Shropshire ale. The pub has several nooks, perfect for private conversations, which adds to its charm. The bar staff were friendly enough, and we paid in cash. It feels like a true local spot, complete with a fruit machine and regulars, but it also had some quirky history. The decor is filled with fun objects, especially behind the bar. Overall, good pint, good service - recommended.

The Slaughter House

Decided to try somewhere different so we saw this place as we we were walking back to the centre of Liverpool. The stairs threw me a little as we walked in but I quiet liked it. Got a window and watched people walk by!

The Italian Club

This is a beautiful restaurant that has amazingly authentic and delicious Italian food. The staff are friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable and affordable for the quality. I cannot praise this place enough. My family and I have been here regularly over the years and never had a bad experience. Their sister locations (Fish and Bakery) are equally as good. 10/10 on all fronts.

Came with my mother for food and was pleasantly surprised. They're are getting a lot work done, out on the front entrance area, so was slightly put off with how the pub looked, but do not let this stop you from visiting! I can’t illiterate this enough this was an absolutely amazing experience and visit! From start we was given a warm welcome, the FOOD was 10 out of 10 would give it more if I could! Greeted with a smile by Mia and served quickly. Graeme ensured we was looked after throughout our visit he was very polite and professional… and was a very good at upselling as we are stuffed from Drinks, to starters, mains, sides, and desserts. Great food recommendations as the food was lovely, tasty snd HOT!!! and looked even better! Not very often you get this so 10/10 for the chef who cooked it! Definitely deserves a special mention! Thank you, keep it up team ENDBUTT and well done! We will be back! Maybe tomorrow hahaha been told there’s a new menu coming in the next few days this is exciting! We have also booked and payed for tickets for there next two events that’s was also recommended by Graeme the manager that’s how good our visit was! Bonus it’s dog friendly! And wasn’t expensive!

Boss Burgers Liverpool

Went for a delivery of the Classic Burger, Truffle Fries and Onion Rings and wasn't disappointed. Ate it too quick to take a pic but would happily order / visit again in the future and happy to recommend.

The Crocodile

1st time in Liverpool, visited this bar because it is mentioned in one of my favourite songs- The Ballad of North John Street by Ian prowse. I can't rate this place highly enough!! I've been to over 30 countries, I know a good pub when I see one!! Special shout out to Trish the barmaid, who genuinely put Liverpool in a special place in my heart.Think, genuine folk, old style bar, great prices for a city centre pub.I'll be back soon!!

The Victoria

Love this pub, lovely landlords Alan and Paula fantastic entertainment especially Sundays on a hot day in the beer garden karaoke with natalie barmaid Sharon service with a smile ? always live entertainment at weekends and sometimes through the week. Thanks for a great day and night always xxx

The Beehive

This is another old Tetley pub that I used to frequent many years ago. We used to go here before we went to the cinema, it was near three cinemas but they have all been demolished now. This pub has not changed a bit, it doesn't need to. It's always been service with a smile and a pint on the bar at a very reasonable price.

Arts Club

I attended here for a Seb Lowe gig and the security and bar staff were the kindest people ever. They were so conscious of my issues regarding being in a wheelchair and treated me like a person and made sure I was comfortable. I would honestly recommend coming here as I only experienced kindness

Gino D'Acampo Sky Bar 360

We used the Afternoon Tea option, the place is very nice, there is a view of the whole city.

The Afternoon Tea menu includes unlimited tea, sandwiches, traditional buns and quite a lot of things for dessert, in general the dishes are pleasant, without frills.

Overall, a good place specifically for Afternoon Tea, a pleasant experience is guaranteed.

Richmond Hotel

Don't be fooled by the name it's just a pub not an actual hotel. Went on a Sunday evening, was quiet but pleasant. Barman was attentive and pleasant. It serves beers and spirits - enough said :-).

Mackenzie's Whisky Bar

My twin brother Stephen and I joined friends in Mackenzie's Whiskey Bar to celebrate a friends 40th birthday and what a great time we had. A great looking bar ,interior is superb ,a cool looking serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,love the paintings on the walls ,big screens to enjoy the sport and there's lots of seating options ,it's just a great bar to unwind in. On our visit staff were superb ,looked after our group ,I stayed on guinness which was absolutely delicious , I also enjoyed some great craft beers ,all our group were well looked after ,beers were kept flowing ,had a great time in here . Mackenzie's Whisky Bar is easy to locate along Rodney Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Furst time trying here and loved it. Great quality food and plenty of it. So tasty and not bad price. Decor inside lovely too and spotlessly clean!

Sometimes a queue out the door, but worth the wait. Great food, and friendly staff ready to help you choose from the menu.

Cavern Club

This is a must visit place for all the fans of music, and even more so, if you are a Beatles fan. The Beatles frequented this place in their early days and even later when they weren't on gigs. That said, this is not just limited to Beatles, but the who's who of Rock and Roll, have all played in this iconic club.

If you are here, have dinner early, find a table and grab a drink, cause there are no options for food. Although you will love the ambience here with locals and globe trotters, singing and dancing together, paying homage to the Beatles and their favorite bands.

My experience was amazing. It's a must experience.

We visited in September and we all had a lovely meal. Everyone enjoyed everything. Food was delicious. Service was good. No complaints and we are going back today!

Incredibly great food at a fair price, with relaxing music and a quiet atmosphere. An excellent place to stop for a break and enjoy culinary delights - whether breakfast, lunch or afternoon pastries with coffee/tea. Highly recommended!!

Very good fish! Fresh and delicious. The gravy is good, the peas are very tasty and there was a 'spicy' dip...you can make it. Recommended to stop by here

Stumbled across this lovely, cosy cafe that’s easy to miss on a wander through town. We sat in for coffee and cake and all said how it was one of the nicest places we’ve stopped for a coffee.

The Flute

First time in this evening before going to the theatre. Food selection is great, freshly cooked and was excellent value for money, washed down with a decent pint to. Staff were very nice and friendly. Definitely will be back.

Found while Googling for a place to eat on the way to the Mountford Hall for a gig. Absolutely beautiful food, simple, fast and amazingly tasty. This place is small so book a table! Lovely staff too.

Only in the door 2 mins and the warmth of this place poured over me ..Steve the owner proudly prepared me an award winning pint of creamy Guinness (certificate inside the door as proof ) and gave me a brief history of how he became the owner of Liverpools oldest pub (300 years old in 2024)A superb pub with lots of atmosphere and charm and a must see and do if your visiting Liverpool...10/10

After almost going bankrupt trying to find good coffee here, I finally found a place that I like!!! I had a very nice cannoli too! Service was very friendly and the glass of water was much appreciated!!!

The Cornmarket

Large city centre pub located behind James Street station. Large leather sofas, polished wood and brass make this place look really smart. Motown was playing in the background, but it’s definitely a place to come and have a chat over some drinks over anything else. The bar area isn’t one to sit at, which is a shame as this is always my preference, but on a nice day the beer garden is a nice option. The price was ok for a pint of Guinness (£5.55), and you have the choice of “normal or cold” which isn’t something I’ve been asked for a long time! There is one TV but it wasn’t showing sport, so not a match option if that’s what you’re after. Food is also available but I didn’t have anything so can’t comment. Like with most places in Liverpool, the staff were friendly. There aren’t many “pubs” in this small part of town, so this is a good option to come and have a few beers and a chat.

Shenanigans

Son started University in Liverpool in September and nipped in for a drink on last visit to see him, his accommodation is literally just round the corner on Hatton Garden.
Really good welcome, even for a Manc to Liverpool !! Had a good vibrant feel, top Irish bar, looks a little deceptive when walking in as appears to be compact with the bar and tables really close, but the pub itself is over 2 floors and a roof bar terrace so plenty of seating, bar on first floor too.
Lot of Irish memorabilia round the walls and ceiling, plus TVs showing football creating a good atmosphere. The Guinness was good and there was a regular flow of custom, visitors and locals, plus there were a number of students so a mixed age group of people.
Good quality Guinness, poured and served perfectly.
Have a good selection of food - snacks and main menu.
