This has been a long overdue review! My girlfriend and I came here for our first valentine's day and had an amazing time! The food was amazing and we experienced true Sicilian hospitality from Frederico and the team!A big personal thank you to Frederico who was happy to amend my booking when my girlfriend was running late due to a work emergency and made sure we were looked after all night, it really made our night!

There is no ifs, buts, or maybes here, we talk in absolutes: by far the best Italian meal I have had in years. And to note, I was in Rome last month! My wife, who is of Calabrese descent, wholeheartedly agrees! Bravo! Excellent food, excellent service! ??

We were in Liverpool this morning heading towards the docks and I fancied a coffee, we passed a couple of very busy looking shops and then happened to walk past Carlisli which looked nice and quiet. We popped in and wow, what a gem of a place, perfect hospitality, excellent coffee (good range of plant based milk) and my teenage son had a hot chocolate he said was amazing and a croissant that was almost the size of his head! Very reasonable pricing (was £11 for two hot drinks and a giant croissant with jam!)Service was amazing and we will definitely return when in the area again.
