Usually this is a lovely restaurant and we go quiet frequently and are Ego club members, staff are great and food is nice. However today there were a number of screaming kids, running around and playing under tables, the screaming was constant and very loud and the parents were just not interested, i could also see other diners were really fed up with the situation. At the better restaurants the parents would have asked to control their kids or leave as they are ruining the other diners experience. It's not right customers had their meals ruined by these screaming and unruly kids, the staff or management should have stepped in and addressed it. Eating out isn't cheap these days, and there are lots of options, we won't be going back for a while.

Lovely meal with husband this evening. We both had the fish one Sea Bass other Cod, couldn't fault it, perfectly cooked andpresented. Good selection of wine & beer. Rhubarb & Gin crumble with ice cream wasyummy. All served by lovely friendly ladies service was excellent. Definitely will visit again.Parking: Big car park, with disabled spaces close to entrance.

Atmosphere was nice, the sharing plater was no good at all and not worth £18, my pizza had to be sent back because the dough was raw, and the pork belly starter was a joke, to be honest. 5 small breaded cubes of pork with leaves no flavour whatsoever. The roast was ok, but we got the trio meat and the amount of meat you get is another joke. The Moroccan lamp was so spicy and barely any meat in it. We won't be coming back. The service was nice, and the staff was nice, but the kitchen is in trouble clearly.

I've attended ego on a few occasions now the first time brilliant second time bit below standard but last night was a real let down ?? service is shocking empty glasses left on the table after new ones brought yet staff frequently walked past the table I counted six staff members at one point all just stood there talking. Plates were not removed after each course was finished again staff frequently walked past on both these occasions I had to ask the staff member to take them away!!!My son wanted fish yet got chicken nuggets I couldn't be bothered saying anything due to him being hungry. The chicken nuggets how they came out the kitchen is beyond me as they were burnt to a crisp ... I did ask for new ones as they were inedible these took forever to come outOverall shocking!!!

Amazing food and at a great price. We had the set meal for 2/3 courses (before 530) and for 45£ for two was great value. Steak for me and chicken for my wife. Two starters and my wife had dessert. Every course was very good. Service was top notch too. All round was superb.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and decor but oh my word by far the worst food we've had in a long time. Sharing starter platter was like bad party food pack from Iceland, no farm foods!, the gambas pil pil one of my favourite dishes tasted like cheap precooked prawns thrown in some olive oil. Ordered the lamb got two thumb nail sized chunks of meat then it was all olives and chick peas, daughter left most of her cod, just awful. Fair play they look the cost off the bill but we go out with the same friends every month and this is the first bad experience we've had.
