“Pho is one of my favourite places to eat on bold street! I always get the Vietnamese coffee, veggie spring rolls (best spring rolls ever!!!) and curry pho. “Dress up warm and bring ear plugs! ? The food was lovely, but the place was cold and not cozy. There's a dog from the owners I think? And it walks around and barks a lot. The door is very squeeky and people were walking in and out non stop so during the whole meal I struggled hearing my partner over the loud and long squeek. I didn't think the service was particularly welcoming either but looking at the other reviews that might just have been a one-off. It's also not clear whether they sell any alcoholic drinks, there was a lot of doubt when we asked and eventually they pulled out a can of cider from somewhere. It's not a problem if you don't sell alcohol but some clarity would be nice! And if it's BYOB then it would also be nice to know, it was not written anywhere ? The mac n cheese together with the sticky ribs was a match made in heaven.”

“Brasco Lounge is located on Liverpool Waterfront, with views of the River Mersey from outside, a stone’s throw away from Albert Dock. It’s a good Lounge for sure, and I enjoyed visiting here recently to continue my Lounge Passport journey. There is a small outdoor seating area which is particularly nice due to the views.

I liked the interior, as a regular to sites in the Loungers chain, this place felt instantly familiar with the mix-matched seating, artwork, wooden flooring, and it was fairly colourful, however it does feel slightly small for a busy city centre location, and on my visit, there were people queuing to get inside, so this could potentially be a problem at peak times at a busy city centre location, although the staff members were friendly and trying to deal with it as well as they could during my visit.

I only ordered a coffee on this occasion, going for an Iced French Vanilla Latte. It was of good quality, and I enjoyed it, with it also arriving really fast, which I appreciated as it was busy. They did go slightly too heavy on the cold foam, but that wasn’t a big deal.

“First time here and really enjoyed it. The prices were excellent (particularly for a trendy area) and food was hot and fresh. Order on app or table side, comes quickly. On a warm day, the pink lemondade was lovely and tasted od raspberries and lemons, nothing artificial.”
