Be kind to yourself and dine elsewhere. Everything about the place told me the meal would be defrosted, microwaved, tasteless muck - and I was right. The coke was flat, the Katsu Curry looked like it had been prepared by a child who used a Fisher Price kitchen - and it tasted like it too apart from the sauce which tasted worse and looked similar to the worming medicine our cat has. The burger and chips was impressive in that it didn't taste like burger and chips but more like undercooked batter, and I've not been able to get rid of the taste since. The overall experience came close to ruining the day, so in an attempt to salvage the afternoon we went to another pub that had a lovely atmosphere and charming staff, and we had a heavenly sticky toffee pudding and two delightful coffees. By the time we left the second pub, our tinnitus had just about subsided from the incessant dubstep that had been blasting out at the Grapes, and our faith in humanity was restored. Then the sun broke free from the clouds and shone once again. Now we just await the inevitable bout of antibiotic resistant e-coli to take effect.P.S the parking is free

Has so much potential but.......Big old building with the pub split across multiple levels. However maintenance and general upkeep of the pub seems to have been forgotten about, leaving it feeling old, shabby and unloved.Staff also appeared disinterested in engaging with customers.Beer ok, but not enough to make you go back here when there are far better pubs locally.

It's a shame it's gone down the nick. Still ok though.

Disapointing is the polite word to use .Where to start? Very little atmosphere. We spent £50+ on 2 mains and 5 starters. We ordered on app all the food came together. When mains aŕived we informed server wed orderd it starters he said sorry they are coming now its cime through as one order tome theres a lack of common sense not to check. The food wasnt great based on previous high standards even the menu as asthetically pleasing as it is its contents/options just wasnt great. Thanks guys im in the dog house for reccomending it wont be back in a hurry

The food was awful I could stand my fork up in the mashed potatoes it was like a piece of rubber and the sausages were cooked so much they were dry and shrivelled up. Won't be eating here again although we did get our meal within 10 minutes.

Great pint of Guinness. Prices are cheap. 5000 to screens all showing football. What’s not to like. The good wasn’t bad

Have to say fantastic organisation for such a big pub on Xmas day. Drinkers looked equally as well as diners. Staff couldn't do enough. All the visitors to the pub were happy and stress free. Well done all the staff. ?

Really nice employees, very helpful, good choice of beer / lager. Food is mediocre, you get what you pay for but will definitely be our new local.
