Stayed here for two nights which was really good value with the 25% off offer before end of March. Lovely room with fantastic view, very spacious, clean, huge bath tub. Breakfast options were good, staff very attentive and provided additional dairy free options for me - would love to have had an option for a vegan version of the veggie breakfast, and quite limited vegan options for dinner but otherwise couldn’t fault it.

Stayed for 1 night for my birthday. Could not recommend this hotel enough!Room was lovely, staff were so friendly, breakfast was really nice with lots of options. The lady who checks your room numbers for breakfast was so friendly. She took my 3 year old daughter and made a mocktail with her.(She was delighted)Would definitely stay again!

Staff are lovely, room was really nice although I did find it very dusty and the bathroom floor needed a clean. Room service good (food should be covered when transporting though). Good selection for breakfast.Rooms: Everything you need in room. Kettle, iron etc. Comfy bed :)

Excellent hotel adjacent to a dock with views out to the Mersey on one side of the building and along from the Liver Building. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rooms spacious and well maintained. Super shower in a 'wet' room, which has a high shower head, perfect if you're 6'5" - which is rare. Excellent housekeeping staff and room beautiful each day. Restaurant downstairs where breakfast is served (it's very good) or perfect for dinner - the steak frites possibly the best I've ever had served with some roasted cherry tomatoes that are sublime!

Location and service was perfect. Room was nice for the most part. Shower continued to drip after turning it off. I could hear the dripping in the room, even with bathroom door shut and it made the shower / toilet area smell a bit musty. Problem was easily solved by putting headphones on. Bath was really nice. Nice and deep. Would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Plushy decorated and furnished with everything you'd feasibly need. Iron, tea and coffee, fridge, hangers etc.Walkability: Easy to walk to from stations. Short stroll into city centre.

Had a lovely stay here to mark my birthday and was given a free drink which was a nice touch. Room was great and very happy, had to deduct a star as the fire alarm went off at 2.20am, it was very short but very loud so didn't obviously warrant an evacuation but still woke us up all the same so a disturbed nights sleep unfortunately!

Was in the area with friends, so I stopped in for breakfast, and I'm certainly glad I did. The quality of the food was impeccable, and the staff are very professional, well presented, and really friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful.

If I could I would give this hotel a 10 million stars! I wouldn’t mind ticking all the stars over and over again! I got married on the 6th of January and wow the location was perfect! The rooms were clean! Like super clean! The food wow they have got definitely award winning chefs! The staff wow from the cleaners to the receptionist were all amazing!!! Special shout to Amy (the event coordinator/organiser), the receptionist that attended to me, the Mrs and my family on the 5th of January 2024 I believe Julia (she was so cheerful and welcoming like wow), Then on our wedding which was on the 6th of January 2024. James, Kat and Molly (don’t know if I got the names right). Please whoever is the general manager for this hotel should give every staff a massive raise!!! The cleaners too

We stayed over Christmas for three nights and were blown away by the experience.Every member of staff looked after us like we were VIPs and we would recommend this hotel without hesitation. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well equipped. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and has a real sense of luxury about it.The highlight was Christmas Day lunch though. It really was outstanding and made very special by the hardworking team in the kitchen and front of house.Well done Mal Liverpool, you should be very proud of yourselves!

The Malmaison hotel chain has some beautiful properties and this one is no exception. You are greeted by a stunning fireplace upon entry. The food, drinks and service available here is exceptional. The staff have the right mix of being friendly but very professional. The standard rooms have everything you need ,but I recommend you pay extra for a riverside view, unless you like looking at carparks.I really enjoyed my stay here.Rooms: The standard rooms are very good but opt for a riverside view if your budget allowsFood & drinks: The hotel an has excellent menu and the bar staff produced some really good quality cocktails.

I ate in the restaurant here recently, and my experience was disappointing. Although the staff were friendly, the menu was overpriced for the quality of the food. I also wanted to pay with cash, but this was refused. There was no "card only" policy that was noticeable at the time, and I feel that customers should have a choice, particularly given the significant increase in cyber crime in recent years, meaning card payments are sometimes not possible. I can't comment on the hotel in general, but I would not recommend the restaurant.

Hotel is average max 3 star. Beds are uncomfortable and basic supplies you find in any hotel room are not provided. Closets make loud weird noises and the toilet flush hardly works. Only good thing about this experience is the hotel location.

My wife had her Xmas party on the Friday and our wedding anniversary was on Saturday so we decided to celebrate by staying over at the Malmaison.Right from. The start was really impressed by the reception area decor, friendly staff and then the room was very luxurious with a bath for the wife and a waterfall shower for me.At the bar tried the Malmaison special Black Cherry Gin cocktail with Ginger, bitters cinnamon on the rocks with tonic and either a cinnamon stick or a rosemary sprig..both variations very tasty. The wife is alcohol free and commented that her alcohol free Strawberry Blini tasted same as real thing, this is because alcohol free prosecco was used, the Pina Colada was just as nice.In the morning we had Nespresso in our room then down to the best Full English I have had in a hotel wife had the Eggs Benedict on Gluten free Barm. Will return next time we come to stay over in Liverpool.

Really like this hotel especially if we get the sea/estuary view!It looks mint at night facing out to where the cruise ships and boats come in.Big bath is fun lol.Cocktails amazing.Food's ok, bit pricey for small portions but tastes good.Staff are nice too.Oddly something was going on in the adjacent room the entire time we were there, even at night, like some kind of deep clean or maintenance? The door was constantly opening/closing, at least once or twice an hour.I get the impression some guests had trashed the room or something and the staff were trying to turn it around in there, kinda felt that was at our expense though as adjacent guests!I'd give it 5 stars normally but the room thing was a bit of a micky take if I'm honest.
