We were recommended to go here by some "foodie" friends, and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the cauliflower bhaji and falafel sharer (which is enough for 2 on its own). We ordered too much food (3 meze and 2 veg) and couldn't finish chickpea dish. Wine selection also great with all available by the glass, can recommend the Lebanese rose. We're veggie so was brilliant for us and also they have a full vegan menu.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian choice and separate vegan menu

Our favourite place to eat when in Liverpool. The food is amazing and the service is so good too. Have a seat at the counter if you can - it's so much fun. Alfie (hope I've remembered correctly) is so knowledgeable and passionate about the food and drinks - all of the staff are lovely and there is clearly great talent in the kitchen. The only saving grace is the disco cauliflower, unfortunately the food was a massive letdown, which is surprising, given the reviews. We tried the chickpea dopiaza, which if you enjoy authentic South Asian/Middle Eastern food, it's tasteless. The service was also great but means little when the food is so bland. Pictured are the prawns which were also average. Unfortunate given we had such high hopes.

Since the first time I went to Maray & fell in love with disco cauliflower I have wanted to share with everyone I know & I finally got the chance on Saturday to share it with my sister. And true to my instinct she felt the same about the disco cauliflower & all the other food on offer as I did. The staff, atmosphere, food & drink were all excellent. It was fantastic to see the restaurant so busy.
